Questions from redembers (thanks!)
1. What are your impressions of the way the Cam is being run at the current time?
I'm tempted to say "into the ground," but, honestly, it seems to be going about the way it always had. I'm disgruntled about Year of Fire but understand the necessity of following WW canon to some degree, since we are their fan club. I'm happy with our current RST... "pleased" is the most accurate word there... and our current RC... and happy my Domain seems, for once, to be able to communicate with Regional.
I wish, however, that I did not get, and had not been getting, the feeling that no-one about a DOmain-level ST trusted the VST's or the players. I wish that National trusted its VST's to choose which plots to run and still integrate with national story. I wish that I did not get, over and over again, the feeling of "ST's vs. players" when, after all, the ST's are there to run for the players.
2. Will you be at Caine I can say Hi again?!
Probably not. I've got the time off but no money, and Dragon is not working yet.
3. If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
My Dragon would have a good job that he was happy in, had room for growth, and paid him enough to begin to set us up comfortably.
4. What do you think is more important to you, Long life, a Great Career, or a Lasting and Loving relationship?
Lasting and Loving relationships, plural, with one central and many others, like petals - close friendships, close loves. Long life has never mattered to me in the least, and a great career would mean nothing without loved ones to come home to.
5. If you could have a long lunch with one person, anyone living or dead, who would it be?
...
I'm really not certain. I don't fangirl as much now as I used to and, most of the people I fangirl currently, I've had opportunities to sit down with at some point.
I think, possibly, Charles deLint or Sherri Tepper, but I would be very very jittery the whole time.
