Thats pretty much how I feel about Guns Germs and Steel. I had to take a break after the plant domestication section and read some fiction. It's quite a tedious read and I think he could be a little more succinct as far as his explanations of things. i.e. plant domestication

I own it but have yet to read it. I need to catch up on two Latin authors first. let me know if it's worth fitting into my insane reading schedule.
