Today is a good day for getting stuff done
It's amazing how I manage to get practically everything done that I set out to do when it doesn't involve university work :P The only thing was that I forgot to pick my dress up from the dry cleaners, but I guess they can't exactly throw it away, so I shall wait until tomorrow and get it after I've had my hair cut.
I want something *interesting* done for a change. Not like mad, but just different. I have the most boring hair in the universe, it's just flat and crap and I have to make it really flat because otherwise it is fluffy and crap. So I shall hope for an imaginative hairdresser :)
Nick is panicking though because he doesn't want anything frightening to happen to it and is worried that I will have too much cut off. I find it very strange that he gets more nervous about my haircut than I do :P
Anyway. He has bought my presents now too and I am all excited because we are having our swapping thingy on Sunday, when we will be hungover from this Christmas party, so we can do that and eat junk food and it will be lovely :) I'm just terrified that he's going to hate his now! Erk.
The other thing was I have upgraded my phone, so that's another satisfying thing. It's the exceptionally cute little sony ericsson t68i or whatever it's called - something technical like that - with colour screen and all sorts of clever stuff that I haven't a clue how to use. I really only wanted it because it looks pretty and shiny and the man in the shop was despairing of me.
I've been meaning to upgrade my phone for a bit now because whenever I've had one handset for a year I get bored of it, so I went in and was like "Ok, what can I have?" and he said "Well anything really. There's this, very popular, this with lots of cool features..." and I said I didn't want the last one because it wasn't very nice and to be honest I wasn't that bothered what it did so long as it looked pretty and he said "Oh right, a girly phone then". Though he was fairly impressed with the one I chose, and it can't be that girly because it's the one that Tom's boss had a while ago when I met him. Then again he was wearing a grass skirt at the time...
So...what was I going to say? So yes. It's lovely :) And very shiny, and it is nice having a colour screen, and I'm sure I will try all this wap stuff at least once, though not on my own...*bats eyelashes at people who know about such things* ;)
You know, it's only ten past four and it's pitch black outside. It's been like this since about two in the afternoon because the weather is absolutely dismal. I don't like it. We had a few days this week where it was perfect winter weather - clear blue sky and sun and freezing cold - but now it's just ugly. I am going to stay inside now, I feel.
