Completely in love w/ Joni...
Nope, not a love letter to a new gal or anything as interesting as that.
I'm studying and put on my Rogers Yahoo Music engine to find something that would keep me company, while I attempted to study.
I thought maybe some Jack Johnson, then thought John Mayer, then thought about some BEP, and settled on Simon & Garfunkel, when I saw a similar interest would be Joni Mitchell. I hadn't listened to my gal Joni in a long ass time. I remember 5-6 years ago, when I first discovered her. Her simple acoustic matched w/ an amazing voice. I got through 2 songs and in kicked 'California' and I had to stop studying to express me enjoyment. Very few new artists can completely involve me like my old school faves. If you believe in reincarnation and I do. I often feel like I died not long ago and came back way too soon. I think I died quite suddenly and thought 'hell, it ain't that hard, let's give it another go.'
Anyways, that's for another discussion. Shit, I haven't thought about reincarnation nor discussed with anybody in a long ass time.
We're almost at the half way mark for the end of school. I didn't think I was sad about it, but I typed those words and now I am. I look at some of the ppl that I could've made friends with and haven't and wonder, if I ever will. The shitness of working 6 days a week for past 2 years, it's left me w/o the opportunity to hang out w/ regular friends, let alone make any new one's.
Summer update: I'm gonna be workin like crazy from July-August. Probably even some before all of that too. It'll be good to have a nice lil' fund going to start up w/ life and such. I still have plans to continue w/ my education and I just hope that I'll be able to stay devoted to it. If it's not too hard, then I'm sure my desire to join most of you all in the undergrad degree realm will prevail.
My lil' bro almost killed us twice tonite. He doesn't check his blind spot, big mistake. Two times, two major swerves. Both times on his side thou, so I guess he would've died and I'd just be left w/ life alterting injuries. ;)
Anyways, "house" was awesome this week. "Aww..do you miss Stacey too?" such an awesome line and moment. If you watched it, then u'll get the reference. For some odd reason, I watched American Idol this week too. I haven't seen it since the 2nd season, when I fell for Kimberly Locke and her Bonnie Raitt rendition and then stopped getting trashed each Tues to watch. Anyways, so yah, there's this dude who's like 27 and has complete grey hair. It makes me worry that I'll have grey by that time or if I'll even have hair. WAHH...guy issues!!
