It was a beautiful day, so the kids and I scootered (well, I rode a bike, they scooted. And sometimes we walked on the hills) down to the library. In the Children's Room, there is a painted mural on the wall of a jungle tree with two monkeys. Apparently, the library had a contest to name these two monkeys, and the winning names were proudly ( Read more... )

Our kids are forever lamenting the fact that I make delicious desserts in the evening, and by the next morning they are half gone. "Dad!" they say. "Why do you eat all the desserts? Why!"
