its been a month without updating myself, what i've been up to lately
my friend and i fell in love with him... though its been 3 weeks without updates, we're never letting go :))
so yes that's what im up to right now. well not exactly making GIFs from manga or even single-sidedly (?) falling in love with inanimate characters but reading, casually reading.
i never took it seriously in fact, its only this time im actually reading manga.
a few years ago i gave it a shot because people were sooo in to it but i cant understand and i hate the fact that you have to try reading from right to left.
it felt so unnatural, now you might be wondering why i brought myself to do something i found so trivial before...
its because im reading together with someone.
who may that be? omg lisa completely dropped lj life for this?
well she's a classmate... "she" because i study in an all-girl's school.
DONT EXPECT ANYTHING WITH GUYS AND I OKAY?
except for soirees, yes but that's impossible.
i wonder what would happen to school events needing an escort?
i dont have contact with guys since all my life im stuck in the same school =)))))))))))
reading manga, with the genres namely Romance, School Life, Shoujo, Comedy and Drama,
i feel slightly lonely. seriously? such cliche story lines. im craving someone to hug. disregarding my trusty pillow. that's not someone, its something!
i get simply annoyed when i read and imagine how those characters actually hug in front of my eyes in certain pages.
waaaa, i feel horrible =)))) but i soon declared that i could just at least, set off but kame's always waiting for me here in my journal.
i could forget all my happiness and not at all feel alone because he's always, always there.
optimistically, that's a fact worth a smile! :)

-its a story about a person who fell in love at first site to a girl he bullied back in middle school. because of the circumstances, the girl attained a few psychological scars and blames it to the protagonist. just how far would the love story go? i wonder? haha so cliche

-about a guy who despises men and loves women hence, cross dresses. he confessed to a classmate and now they go out but the situation seems as if lesbians are dating. the story itself is in one-shot format, which is in a way disappointing, but the author managed to shift views quite easily. one remarkable comment stands out, ITS HILARIOUS.

-a girl who grudges her sister who's a model. a bitter-sweet journey of a girl who never got the spotlight because her sister steals it so effortlessly. what would happen if the batch's most popular guy stimulates her? taking the title itself, the approach is rather sweet and the artwork also seems so... i just wonder why soldier? and its not as interesting as you think it is. the drawings are just tempting... you could appreciate it that way.

> Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji
-a teenager who made friends with a clique centering on boyfriends. she talks about them everyday... love, sex, fun with her partner, but the problem is, she doesnt have a boyfriend and she can't stirrup lies anymore or else she would be found out. a day passed and she saw a hot stranger on the streets and confronted him shamelessly and took his picture. she showed the pictures to her friends to make an alibi, it just so happens that the guy she adores is a schoolmate. both parties (the protagonist and the stranger) talk it out to frame up a fake relationship in order to retain her clique but to her disappointment, the prince-like guy is a devil.

-a girl who was bullied and learned how to never mingle to avoid getting hurt, she hit the most popular guy in school and in that way, the guy became stimulated and grew interest in her. the timid girl who works in a part-time job was once followed by some stalker and remembers that the popular guy became friendly and handed her his number. she calls for help and so their love story begins. slowly, she drops her perfect defense mechanism and learns to receive warmth from the people around her.

-a girl who was childhood friends with the person she loves becomes ecstatic for her crush's return but it turns out that the same guy likes someone else and clearly does not consider the protagonist as a person he may possibly undergo a serious relationship with. the guy's younger brother, as well is a childhood friend, appears bitter but foreshadows feelings for the girl. this manga is sparsely updated. it's in a way annoying how you get stuck up in a state of confusion :))

>Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu
-this manga is about a boy who has chronic heart disease and falls in love with a girl who's the daughter of his heart doctor. they become the best of friends and made a vow at age 8 to marry when the protagonist reaches his coming of age day at 20. at his second school trip to okinawa, he realizes from another doctor the long kept secret that would break his promise with the girl he loves, he's bound to die at the age of their marriage. personally, the story line is wonderful and they actually made a movie about it starring Okada Masaki. its a very touching story but as far as im concerned, the drawing of the manga is obliviously annoying. there are also some parts worth mature ratings too and sometimes the author herself repeats the same sketches four times in consecutive chapters. nonetheless, if you dont really mind the pinocchio-like illustrations, its a must read but dont spoil yourself. i heard that the guy wont die in the end of the manga, its chapter 0 hence, a cliffhanger.

>Ojousama wa Oyomesama
-a girl in a mega rich family was bound to marry by age 18 to a man born at the same exact time and same exact day as she was; dictated by their family tradition. she is to become the successor and it is a must to marry or else her rights as the heir would be voided. as she meets the man she is to marry, after waiting for 17 years and only receiving a picture every year on her birthday to hint the coming of her dream day, she is surprised because the guy she perfectly imagined was the exact opposite. mangas like this are made to be loved by me :)) im the type who's interested in culture, tradition and social issues regarding the problems today. so far, this manga showcased all of what im looking for. there's a romantic factor, as well as a comedic and dramatic one. this just yet might be my favorite.

-guys are born to be competitive may it be academically or athletically. as the protagonist, who is the son of a countrywide-famous hotel chain owner enters his learning years, he garnered much attention and became idol-like but as an exchange student transfers, the limelight was swiftly stolen away from him. as the exchange student who's shy and less mindful of her surroundings reaches number one in her class, the boy becomes provoked and is annoyed for placing only second. he critically decided to make her fall for him after aimlessly following her around for 10 years only so he could tease her but instead he's the one who went completely head over heels for the stubborn yet completely unconcerned woman. there they play the last game, to make the woman realize that she as well, has feelings for the protagonist.
