Shopping Addiction
I think I might be addicted to shopping. Maybe "addiction" is too strong a word. But I think I might love it too much... I love the rush you get when you buy something new...the untold promise that this new item might just change your life. And maybe its absurd to attribute such power to an inanimate object, but can anyone tell me they've never felt the same thing at least once?
Anyway, all of this is on my mind right now because I'm having to physically restrain myself from hitting the "buy now" button at sephora.com and amazon.com. I want this stuff so bad I can taste it, but I'm too damn practical to take the plunge. I just got back from a mini-vacation/ shopping trip in Vegas and so do not need to buy more stuff.
