My first entry, YAY!!!!
Hey what's up people. This is my first post. I always thought it would be cool to chronicle my life. Not that my life is all that interesting. Oh well, twenty years from now, I will look back with fond memories I'm sure, reminiscing about the events of yesteryear. So, what to write? Should I be specific and write about what time I woke up and what I had for breakfast? Or should I just give you the general aspects of my day and save most of the white space for my inner most thoughts. How about I go with the latter!
Today, I didn't do much of anything. Mostly, I just hung out. I did a little bit of homework. I'm working on this Independent Study from school. I've had all summer to work on it, but am just now starting to commit some time to it. I'm a procrastinator by nature, which probably explains why I haven't graduated yet from college.
Since this is my first post, let me give you a little background information. I'm from Newport, KY but go to school in Lexington, KY at the University of Kentucky. I'm from a rather large family, by today's standard that is. I'm one of five kids and surprisingly enough, contrary to current marriage trends, my parents are still married. I'm the second oldest. At school, I have a dual major: Health Education and Family and Consumer Sciences. I would like to teach upon graduation, but have come to find that finding a Health Ed. teaching position may be difficult. Fortunately, I can fall back on my Family Studies degree if I don't find a job relatively quickly. Either way, I'm sure I'll be happy with wherever I end up.
Okay, so this post is getting pretty long, and in looking back at my entry, it's not that interesting to me, let alone to a complete stranger. That said, I'm gonna get outta here. See ya!!!
