I get a lot of discrimination for my age. People think I'm just trying to be badass or a rebel when they don't understand that I got my first facial piercing (eyebrow) when I was 13. I was in middle school and I had NO friends. I had no one to impress. It was about what I had wanted, not what was cool. It set me aside and I got bitched at endlessly by teachers and stared at a lot. But I didn't even care.
Since then, I've had about 10 earrings, 4g ears, nosering, two tattoos (1 simple 8 inches on back, one realistic and took 2 1/2 hours on arm), and two more in 2 days and I'm not yet 18. I think that's a good amount considering I got all of it legally done in studios AND I attend a catholic school that allows none of that.
So sometimes I walk in a studio, and because my shit isn't hanging out everywhere, I get this little elitism vibe and it pisses me off. So what? You're older than me and you have more. What's to say I won't have more than them at that age? Maybe I will, maybe I won't, and who cares? That shouldn't even matter. We all enjoy body modification, light or heavy, so why should anything between set us apart?
