Shocked, Horrified and VERY upset

I don't know if anyone has seen the news yet, but I just got a call from my Mom warning me about a story that will be on tonight. Our very good, lifelong friend who has always been more like family to us (he's 64) was the victim of a terrible road rage incident last night. He was backing out of his sister in law's driveway and didn't see a car

Wow, you know him? I didn't see the story, but heard it in the background on this morning's news and thought how terrible that was. People scare me.

Thinking good thoughts for him and hoping for the best. Take care.

Yeah, he's actually like an uncle to me. Their family and our family have been friends forever. The young man on the TV (his son) has always been like a little brother to me. They apparently took him off the ventilator tonight, but he still hasn't regained consciousness. It's just really a horrible thing, I can't imagine why anyone would do that.

I heard about that on the news. That was absolutely horrible.
