Goodbye's stink
It's been a while since I've updated this. I always seem to do that.
Well, Bristol has moved down to LA. She left last Wed. It was hard for me to say goodbye to her, although I told her it wasn't a "goodbye" just a "see you soon". It didn't hit me too hard until I came home that night and started to think about it. Then she called the other day to let us know she made it down there, but I was at work, so that upset me.
I know, I'm being a little childish about the whole thing, but I'm not too sure that anyone understands how close she and I are and how much she means to me.
It is very strange not to be able to drive over to her house anytime I want and see her, or just sit and have coffee and talk about what has gone on that day.
BUT....this does give me a very good reason to go to LA often, which makes me happy. I figure my first trip down there will be early next year, since she will be home in Oct. and Dec.
I'm still at Nordstrom. I'm really thinking about going back to school and getting my teaching certification again. I thought about this a couple years ago, and started to get the classes I needed for it, but then something happened and I just didn't finish it. I really want to do something else, and I think that being a teacher would be a good fit for me. We'll see.
Ok, time to clean the house. My life is so exciting!
