Life and other fun things
I feel like I have been working a lot.
Oh wait....I have. So today is the first full day that I have had off that I haven't had to go to the mall for something. It's nice. In fact, I haven't even left the house yet. I will later though.
Going back to work was actually fun. My body was not to happy about the standing all day for 12 hours the first day of the sale, but now I'm used to it again. I have to find myself a permanent home there, and hopefully make enough money to pay some bills and get back on track.
In other news, I am SO excited to say that we are going to be attending the opening weekend of the Lion King when it arrives in Seattle in Dec. I have always wanted to see this show, and bought tickets the first day they went on sale. This is our Christmas present to each other. We saw a mini version of it at Animal Kingdom while we were on our honeymoon, and even Dustin is really excited to see the actual full show. We plan to make a night of it, go out downtown for dinner somewhere nice, get dressed up, then go to the show.
Lilo is getting so big. She is 5 months old now and it's time to have her fixed. I'm having guilty feelings about this but know it must be done. We are going to take her in in a couple of weeks. She has had to stay home with the cat and roam the house a lot in the past couple weeks since I went back to work. She has really done well. We are very lucky that we got such a great dog.
Not much else is going on. We have pretty much settled into our married lives, and it doesn't feel much different, other than the fact that we really don't get out much due to work/dog, etc. We were able to meet a couple friends for drinks last week which was nice. I find that I really cherish our time off now, we don't have nearly as much of it.
This weekend we are going to Dustin's work picnic. It's apparently a pretty big deal. We are going to take the dog. We also are going to head to the Sat. market downtown Edmonds, I have been wanting to go but I've been working every weekend. I plan on buying some bread from the Great Harvets Bread co, some fresh fruits, and maybe some flowers!
The only other news, is that Bristol is leaving in less than a month for LA. I try not to think about it.
