We have talked it over. We have cried some more.
I think the problem we are having with this is we fell really hard for the little guy.
Like I said before, we both felt that he was truly meant to be our dog. We also know that we will never probably find another dog like him.
We have decided that we really need to try to put this aside for now as hard as that is. We've cried our tears, now we need to concentrate on getting married. Then when we get home we can dedicate more time to figuring out what we are going to do. We bought all the dog supplies already....we really wanted this dog.
Life sucks sometimes. This is just proof of that. And that life has really shitty ass timing as well.
Everyone has been great though. My parents came over right away to be with me because I was so upset. Our friends came over tonight.
We will get past this, but for now it's just hard, we were so excited to go see him tomorrow.
I'm off to try to get some sleep.
