Quick challenge from GOS- the Good Genes Challenge. I have seen a couple of the previous versions of this challenge and was pretty amazed at the results some folks got with the original sim they were presented with, so when I saw they had posted a new one I just HAD to give it a try.
The rules and link to download Ragnarok can be found here-
http://digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=30494.msg684247;boardseen#new So.... First up, I matched pretty Brandi Broke up with our Demon founder, Ragnarok. Spawn 1 and 2 were a, ummm, interesting mix of their parents, but Brandi's wonderful facial genetics won out with child #3, Blade.
A lucky genetic roll, Blade got his Mama's face and his Dad's coloring. I was happy to not have Ragnarok's cheekbones and eyebrows in the genetic soup mix anymore. ~chuckle~
I matched Blade up with Jennicor Tricou (aged down from an elder) and they actually had 3 pretty attractive children. Their 1st boy had the red skin, but Jennicor's eyes and hair, while the other 2, one boy and one girl, got "normal" skin tones and eyes. I went with their 2nd boy, Lane.
Lane, got his father's hair color and his mother's elf ears. I love the ears! Matched Lane up with Lilith Pleasant (aged up from teenagers) and they had one son, Finn. I could have had them have 2 more for more variety, but I thought Finn was pretty cute.
And my 4th Gen. challege sim, Finn DeVil, kept his grandmother's elf ears, hair color and eyes. I don't see much of Lilith in him at all, but that's okay. Let's hear it for Brandi and Jennicor's genetics!!!
I might try this a couple more times, just for giggles. This time I was limited to the handful of Maxis pre-mades I had extracted and sitting in my Saved Sims folder.
