Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it. And to those who don't, have a great December 25th, because I love you and all (despite the fact that you are, like me, totally godless heathens! Give me a godless heatheny kiss! And you Christmassers too, give me a warm glowy Christ-believing kiss! Kisses all around! GODDAMN I LOVE E-KISSES TO PEOPLE I LOVE! AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU! MWAH!).
I'm on vacation from retail until 2007. It feels good. It feels very good. I'll miss my manager so much, if only because we ended the day with a mix of Coming Out for Christmas and the Grinch soundtrack. Eight hours of Christmas Eve shoppers is absolutely crazy, and I swear every single customer developed a personality disorder. Whether it comes to Believe the Cashier Can Read Your Mind Disorder, or Blame the Cashier that You Waited Until December 24th to Try and Find a Wii-Phrenia, or asking if I sell fruit flies (really, what the hell? I sell videogames, you silly sod!), or Pay Exact Change in Pennies Located in Random Places on Your Person Including Your Shoes-otypal Syndrome, everyone's gone completely batty.
But, it's over now! And when I return in '07, the holiday season crowds will just seem a far-off nightmare.
Anyway. This holiday season has been rocky for me. This December has had definite ups and down regarding family, friendships, school work, my job (though I did get a raise and am no longer quitting!), etzah. But I'll admit I'm content enough. Today at least, I feel happy and filled with the mushy annoying kisstastic Christmas spirit. This is your fault! I blame you!
I'll get your gifts done, been a bit busy. I'm giving several of you art. I'm ficcing for at least two of you and Ultimate Tom is on the horizon, for real this time.
