Ah...could we have an artist who can actually render characters on New Excalibur again?
I did, however, love the Tom/Cain scene. I want more Tom, dammit! Preferably drawn with a forehead! I won't get started on his hair, because he's in jail and blah, but dear dark lord, could we please give him a proper facial structure again? Having him not look like white trash would be a pleasant bonus! And while we're at it, why not use light pencils to make sure characters have their eyes line up properly? And we can even give Cain a head that isn't shaped like a pumpkin!
This is sad. I get a Tom scene, and yet I'm too preoccupied crying blood at how amazingly horrible the art is to comment on the scene itself. Rest assured I shall have more to say about my baby tomorrow, once I've washed my eyes of that art. I hate to use this phrase, but my God, I could do better.
I find this icon all too appropriate.
