SUMMARY: Hikaru askes everyone in JUMP and Yamada's girlfriend, Lisa, to go to a newly opened karaoke bar. But what will happen if there were some problems during karaoke-ing, which leads to even bigger problems?
::Chapter 10::
Few days later, they decided to finally tell their parents about the baby. They can't hid that matter anymore, her tummy will soon begin to grow bigger and bigger each day. So that night when they ate dinner together with Yama-chan’s parents, both of them were nervous but mostly scared from thinking of all the things that might happen later.
At the start, things seemed ok. Yama-chan’s to-chan was saying stupid joke and making funny puns, Yama-chan’s sisters were chatting about girl stuff with Lisa, Ka-chan was cooking dinner and Yama-chan was playing with Cookie and Kuu, just like any other “normal” nights.
However, when they began to eat Lisa felt like vomiting again. Immediately, she rushed to the toilet to vomit like always. But when she came back to the table, she finds Yama-chan’s dad looking speechless at Yama-chan, his face showed no emotions at all. While his mum's eyes were watery, looking mad and very angry. Her hand was close to slap Yama-chan, whose eyes were shut closed tightly, waiting for the hard slap from his mother. Everyone sitting there, looking shocked, especially Yama-chan’s sisters.
As Lisa realise what was going to happen, she quickly yelled out, “DON'T!!” Which quickly stopped Ka-chan’s hands from hitting Yama-chan’s face, but her tears came out instead. She couldn't hold them back anymore.
So Lisa looked at Yama-chan, who was still shocked from what his mother was about to do. She never hit nor tried to slap him before, neither did his father. As if knowing what Lisa wants to ask, he just nodded.
Lisa then faced To-chan and Ka-chan waiting for them to say or do something, but all she got from them was them staring at her. Ka-chan looked at her and then slowly looked down to Lisa’s very small, but you can tell, noticeable lumpy tummy, which was nearly 10 weeks old already.
Ka-chan then looked at Yama-chan again and lastly at both at us
“What are you two planning to do?” She asked in a cold voice, which none of us have ever seen her like this before. It was scary!
So Yama-chan looked at Lisa, griping her hands even tighter and then bravely replied, "We're going to have the baby and we’re going to raise him or her up together!” His mum's eyes widened and looked at me. I nodded in agreement. Even if I know that what I'm doing and deciding now is something that’s going to change my whole life
"But... but.. " Ka-chan was out of words, when To-chan finally spoke and cut into her sentence.
“Do you two even know what you're doing? Raising up a child costs lots of money! What about school? You two are still in high school and you, Yama-chan, you're going to take exams soon and get ready to go university or college! … Also, don't you two want to continue playing and have fun like any other normal children around your age? Instead of staying at home looking after the baby!? ” He asked, trying make us change our minds.
But Yama-chan quickly stopped him when he was about to continue and answered back seriously. “TO-CHAN... KAA-CHAN... We know what you are thinking. But we don't care what happens and the final decision is we’re having the baby!! It's ours, made from just me and her... from our love together!! Once we have the baby, nothing will change too. I will still be your son forever, who was also made from both of you, just like what happened to our baby.” He paused to take a breath and touched the baby again when he said our baby .
Then he continued again, “And I will still continue studying hard and get into a good university, I promise, because I have to! Not only because of me, but now also for my family; me, Lisa-chan and our baby! ” When he finally finished, tears fell out of Lisa’s eyes. She didn't know what to say, she also didn’t know what she was feeling right now. It was something that you couldn’t describe in words. But all she knows was that she is very happy and glad that Yama-chan was the one who she going have a baby with.
At last, his parents agreed and were proud of Yama-chan. He’s finally not the little innocent Yama-chan anymore, who wants strawberries and read manga every day. But now into a mature and serious kawaii boy who cares about the girl he love and about his own family.
His mum then looked at Lisa and asked, "Do your parents know about this already?"
She shook her head, looking down at her tummy, and quietly answered, “Not yet... "
Lisa looked up at Yama-chan when he holds her hands tighter again. "Ka-chan, we're going to tell them tomorrow when we have dinner together."
Hearing that, To-chan and Ka-chan looked at each other and Ka-chan turned to Yama-chan. "If you want, we can come with you tomorrow..."
The next night, Ka-chan noticed Lisa worried and nervous again from thinking how to tell it to her own parents. She Ka-chan just put more food in her bowl and gave her a warm smile.
Then suddenly Lisa had to go to the toilet again and this time, Yama-chan followed after.
In the toilet, Yama-chan saw her vomiting and crying at the same time. She didn’t know how to say it. While she vomits more, he went behind her to rub her back to make her feel better.
“Don’t worry… Ka-chan and To-chan can accepted our BB then yours will too. Believe me la, ok?” He said softly to Lisa and smiled. “You think so?” She asked and got a nod from Yama-chan.
But outside, Lisa’s mummy was there and she heard everything. She went in with a cup of water and towel in her hand. “Yama-chan’s mummy said that you’re vomiting a lot… So I came to see if you’re ok. But o-outside… I...I... heard you say something about BB?” She questioned them and they both looked at her with eyes wide open. “Don’t tell me you are pregnant?!” She finished.
There was silence and Lisa slowly nodded as her mummy’s eyes widen. She then looked at Lisa, up and down, and stopped at her tummy. She turned her direction towards Yama-chan as well and asked, " How did this all happen??!!!" Neither of them said anything as she kept looking at them. Lisa’s eyes became watery again. She has never seen her mummy this scary before. Lisa’s mummy then turned to just Yama-chan and stared at him, “Are you…” and before she finished, Yama-chan nodded and she looked at Lisa.
"Hai... I made her pregnant. I’m the baby's father. Ka-chan, I will be responsible! I promise!" and he looked at Lisa again, "And I’m going to marry her and we're going to have our baby." Mummy went speechless. She didn't know what to say, but inside she felt angry but at the same time happy. Then when they all went outside together to tell daddy, the only who doesn’t know anything about the baby… like they assumed.
But when they arrived to the table, what surprised them was that daddy already knew all it. Ever since, Lisa started vomiting and didn't feel well, he began to wonder and tonight when Lisa and Yama-chan went inside the toilet, Ka-chan went to the kitchen to get water; Yama-chan's to-chan had accidently said everything.
They were first joking about when Lisa and Yama-chan would marry and then have babies so they can play with grandchildren. But that’s when to-chan said it. “We don't have to wait anymore! Haha… Lisa-chan is already pregnant with Yama-chan's BB.”
At first, Lisa’s daddy just thought he was joking but when he remembered all the vomiting and pregnant symptoms. He realise it was indeed real. All he could say was "EH?! " and To-chan just cover his mouth, quickly. "Opps... " He thought to him self
So he told Lisa’s daddy everything, "Yama-chan and Lisa-chan was supposed to tell you and your wife tonight…. But I guess, you know it now… "
Later, they see Lisa and Yama-chan walking together, hand in hand, and mummy besides Lisa. Daddy saw them, but just looked at Lisa and at her tummy. Then he turned to face mummy, who just nodded and smiled.
" Sou... demo what about your studies? Yama-chan you're about to do your college exams and Lisa, you're still in junior high!!” He said in a worried and strict, but also a kind voice.
“Daddy! It doesn't matter! To us, our baby worth the most and is more important to us!!” They both said together and touched her tummy as the parents all just smiled, seeing how both of their child changed so much already… so much more mature.
Then Lisa’s mummy and daddy finally said, "Ok la. Well then, it's your choice! Remember we will always be there for you two and our kawaii grandchild. haha"
“Hai... we'll always be there to support you two! And to help look after the BB ne. " Yama-chan's to-chan and ka-chan continue.
“But one thing you, Yamada Ryosuke, have to promise not to make our Lisa-chan hurt or sad! Or else you get it from me! Hehe… And don’t say I didn’t warn you because I did now.” Lisa’s daddy gave Yama-chan a joking glare, but still scared the hell out of Yama-chan.
“Hai! Hai! I Promise I won’t hurt her or anything. I’ll make her the happiest girl on earth! Hahaha… and spoil her everyday and … night!” Yama-chan replied, grinning at Lisa when he said the last part.
“Baka!!” Lisa shouted, hitting Yama-chan back of his head playfully.
At last, they felt relieve… their parents finally accepted it! Now, only JUMP and Johnny-san is left to go.
