SUMMARY: Hikaru askes everyone in JUMP and Yamada's girlfriend, Lisa, to go to a newly opened karaoke bar. But what will happen if there were some problems during karaoke-ing, which leads to even bigger problems?
So one day, they decided to see the doctors at the nearby clinic after school finishes for a real check-up to confirm it.
That morning it was health class again and the topic was the next step up from last class's lesson. This time it was about getting pregnant and stuff like some of the effects before, during pregnancy and after giving birth, how the baby develops and grow inside the mummy's tummy, the symptoms of getting pregnant, and also what can be done if you’re not ready yet for a baby.
Sensei talked about many things, some interesting like how the baby develops and grow; some scary things like it’ll hurt a lot when giving birth, etc. But the cruelest things were also told too, if you’re not ready to have the baby, you can do abortions to kill/get rid of the little baby.
After hearing that, it made the class whisper things to each other like:
“Wahh… those people are so cruel!”, “If they don’t want to keep the baby then don’t do “IT” for goodness sake!”, “Those who have abortions are heartless people!”, “Poor baby!” or “The baby’s innocent…. But lucky that they didn’t have those cruel people as their parents! Or else those cruel people might as well leave the baby once they come to this world! That would be even crueler!”
Hearing those comments from their classmates made Lisa and Yama-chan feel uncomfortable. But they both thought of the same thing, “Agree! No matter what others might say or think, if we have a baby then we’ll keep it! We’ll give it everything we have and give all of our love to our baby!”
Later, when sensei talked about the symptoms, she asked the class if anyone know what some of them were, and Lisa was one of them who answered it all. So she said all the things that happened to her, hoping it wasn't the right signs. But unfortunately, all the ones that she had said so far was a nod and sensei would say that she was correct.
“Vomiting….”
“Correct”
“Missed the monthly thing”
“Yep”
“Can feel tired easily...”
“Hai!”
“Get very hungry!” Lisa added another one. But the most she says, the more she felt worse.
“YES! Wow… you’re good at this!” Sensei complimented, smiling. Lisa just sat back on her chair looking worried, not knowing what else to say. Everything that she said so far was what’s happening to her now.
Then the teacher added some more like special cravings for random food at random at random times, have mood swings, gets emotional really easy, and there was still more. But before she finished, something was running up Lisa’s throat again. So she quickly put up hand for permission to go to the toilet. However, before she could say anything to the teacher, she quickly ran out of the classroom using her hand to cover her mouth. Sensei looked at Yama-chan with a questioning look on her face and he just nodded.
“Yamada-kun, go and see if Lisa is OK.” With that, Yama-chan quickly got out of his sit and ran straight toward the girl's toilet near the classroom. Not caring if there were still other female students in there or not, he still went in. What did matter to him was that his Lisa is in there and needs his help and support.
Inside the toilet, Lisa’s eyes were all watery. She felt like vomiting more. But nothing would come out anymore. It was painful already and then she saw Yama-chan. He immediately rushed to her while she was half standing, half leaning again the wall near the sink. She felt weak. Lisa hugged Yama-chan tightly and began crying in his chest while he pats her head softly with his fingers running through her silky soft hair.
“Gomen ne... Gomen ne... Lisa-chan... If I didn't do that will you then you would feel all this pain and made you suffer like this...” and she just shook my head, “Daijoubu... I’m sure all this pain will end soon. Then the happiness will come as well!”
~After school, at the clinic~
Lisa and Yama-chan was sitting there waiting for the doctor. Surrounding them were pregnant women in their twenties to thirties, some dads with their kids or their pregnant wife, kids playing with toys, some babies sleeping, while some cries. But all the adults there were staring at them both, who were still wearing their school uniform.
Yama-chan didn’t say anything, but Lisa felt sorry for him. Since he was indeed a famous idol and is also the type that many girls would all fall for. So some mothers began gossiping. At first, both of them just ignored them.
“Isn’t he that famous Johnny boy, Yamada Ryosuke?”
“Who’s that girl with him?”
“Wonder if she’s pregnant? Both of them are still so young.”
“Poor girl… you think he would take responsibility?”
“Indeed famous celebrities like him, loves to play around with girls. He probably slept with many girls and what’s worse he’s just in high school. 17? 18?” That’s when Lisa got pissed. They can say anything about her, but saying those things about Yama-chan, they just gone too far over the limit line.
“Hey! Don’t say that about him! Yes, he is Yamada Ryosuke. To you, he might be a famous idol who might sleep with other girls. But only he would know if he did that or not. You’re not him. And to me, I love him! So shouldn’t I be the one who’s worried about that matter? It has nothing to do with you, so please don’t gossip in front of him, in front of us! I know that he only loves me and I also trust him. So you have no-rights to say anything bad about him! So please don’t!!” Lisa said bravely, everything in one big breath, with Yama-chan next to her, smiling like a stupid boy. Earning apologies from those who gossiped, but Yama-chan accepted them all. What a soft-hearted boy!
“Lisa-chan, its enough and breathe!! When you didn’t breathe, I got so worried. Don’t do that again. I don’t mind what others say about me. I’m used to it already. All that matters to me is you and your safety. Ok?” Yama-chan asked sweetly and whoever that was watching just laughed at his cuteness.
“Guess we were all wrong… haha…” one of the mothers replied and laughed.
“Yea… he’s so sweet!” Another agreed, making her young husband glare at Yama-chan cutely. So Yama-chan just did a “sorry” sign to him, smiling innocently.
“Lisa Yamada…” A nurse came out with a clipboard.
“Eh?”Lisa didn’t know what to say. But when she saw Yama-chan grinning stupidly, she knew everything and it was him who wrote it onto her application form. “Oh, yes?”
“It’s now your turn to see the Doctor.” The nurse replied smiling. But once she looked beside Lisa, her smile turned into a frown. Seeing her idol in front of her with another girl was bad. But they were in a special clinic just for babies, kids and …… pregnant people just made it worse. “Er... Ano... please follow me.” She quietly said, in a sad voice, and they both followed her into the doctor’s room.
“Hello Yamada-san. How can I help you?” The doctor asked, looking at the clipboard. So when he saw Yamada and Lisa standing there with their school uniform, he knows something’s wrong but were also shocked. “Oh… please sit down.”
Once both of them sat down, looking at the young doctor, he asked, “You two aren’t married right?” So both of them nodded, “And I know that he is Yamada Ryosuke.”
This time Yama-chan nodded, “Hai… and if you’re wondering if she’s my sister, no she isn’t.”
Then Lisa added, “Yea… he was the one filling those application forms so he wrote me as Yamada. My real surname is Chang. Sorry for all that trouble. And just call me Lisa.”
“Sou… I see. Now Yama- I mean Lisa-san, can you tell me what’s wrong?” The doctor asked, back on the main topic.
“Ano… we … can we check if I’m pregnant? Recently, I’ve been vomiting a lot and I also get very tired and weak easily.” She replied looking down.
“I see. But to confirm that, we would need to do some tests and then the result would be here in 15 minutes. OK?”
“Hai…” Lisa and Yama-chan both nodded.
~15 minutes later~
“The results are here….” The doctor said as he went back to his sit slowly with a smiling face.
“Aish... DOCTOR Hayaku!” Both of them exclaimed.
“Is she pregnant with our baby?” Yama-chan asked first with his eyes wide open.
“…. ”
“DOCTOR!!” They screamed.
“hahaha.. I love seeing my patients like that… haha... OK! CONGRATULATIONS! She is indeed pregnant.” The doctor finally answered.
“……"
"YATTA!!!” Yama-chan suddenly jumped up, shouting like a little boy who got what he wanted. “I’m gonna be a papa! I’m gonna be a papa! Hahaha… ” Seeing that, Lisa smiled warmly and her hand went to her tummy and quietly whispered, “Looks like your papa is very happy…”
Then the doctor who was laughing as well suddenly turned serious. “I know you guys are happy about this news. Demo you two are still so young, will your parents be ok with this?” BAM… all the happiness suddenly left and Lisa looked at Yama-chan who did the same.
“Ano… if you want opinions from me, other people will say you two are seriously very very young. And having a child would just ruin your future and would regret later. Which leads to the only option is to have an abortion. But to me, I believe the baby inside her is a living miracle made from both of your love. So… you should appreciate it. And with the baby, you two could make a happy family, something that’s very important to all three of you. Plus, if you are worried that you will regret later, killing this baby now would make you regret even more. Trust me, many women who did an abortion is now regretting. Some thinking that they’ll still have more babies later. In the end, they couldn’t have any at all. Since that one operation damaged everything for her to get pregnant again. So please think wisely.”
“Hai! Arigato doctor! We already decided to keep this baby no matter what others think.” Both said in unison, smiling widely. “Demo can you tell us how big is our baby?” Lisa asked, placing one hand on her flat tummy.
“Well, when did you two last do it? And when’s your last period?” The doctor asked.
“2 months ago.” Lisa answered, blushing.
“Then if I’m correct, your baby is now around 2 months old. So please be careful! Eat lots and sleep lots. If you like, you can do all your check up here and I’ll be your doctor.” He suggested with a kind smile.
“Sure! Hehe…” Both of them answered in unison.
“Then the next check-up for both Lisa-san and the baby will be 3 weeks from now. Will that be ok with you two?” The doctor asked, confirming the date. So they just nodded. “Alright, and I’ll write you some vitamins and some calcium tablets for Lisa-san to take. You’ll need to take them every morning and night. Now, that’s all. See you again in the next appointment! And YAMADA take good care of her! Hahaha…”
“Hai!!!” Yama-chan nodded.
“Arigato doctor!” After thanking the doctor and buying those medicines, they both went home smiling happily. Yama-chan having one hand holding Lisa protectively and one hand holding hands with her. While Lisa have her other hand on top of her baby protectively too.
Not long, even Chii and Ryutaro could tell something is definitely different about Lisa. She would always rush to the nearby sink or toilet every now and then, which then makes Yama-chan keep following behind her every time she went. Sometimes it would be quick, but sometimes it would take forever.
