First of all, I wanted to say that the killer of the priest has been caught and arrested today. He was a local. He confessed his crime. Apparently he recently became very interested in religion after failing in finding a job in Italy and losing his girlfriend too. He had questions, he carried around quotes from the Bible that upset him and he had asked the old priest for an answer probably on why God had failed him. What can I say, I am just glad they caught this crazy man.
Today has been very busy. An early trip to the farmers' market meant bringing home lots of goodies:
Gorgeous smelling lime tree/linden flowers for teas. They are drying in my mom's bedroom because it's the only place forbidden to the cats. The perfume is absolutely amazing!
I bought sour cherries, to bake a sour cherry tart, which is my favorite.

After:
I like it very fruity!
This is project strawberry jam. Here they were left to get the juices out.
Soon!
And the smaller sweet and sour cherry project:
The cats are being very supportive of all this activity and sleeping like there's no tomorrow.
This week it has been Meli's birthday (she's 5 now) so she's still out from over-celebrating.
