visitors at work
This is another picture post I've been meaning to make. Recently we had some unusual visitors at the firm and since they were cute, I took pics. Yes, if they would have been ugly they would have been ignored. Apparently that's how the world works! < / end pathetic joke>
First, the two puppies. Got your attention?
The two girls have been abandoned in the middle of the street, in full traffic. My colleague rescued them. We managed to find them a home with the lady working for the security company. She's an angel! Now the puppies are de-wormed and happy.
The next two guests - they came in two-s for some reason - were two baby turkeys. My colleague Liliana bought 10 of them for her mother to raise in the country, but two of them were limping. She was meaning to return them as "defective merchandise". But she left them warm themselves a bit and they recovered pretty well.
Now the baby turkeys are at the farm, having been adopted by a mother hen! She keeps them warm and calls them to food! It's so sweet that she doesn't discriminate between these orphans and her own chicks!
The last work-related story of the day: the roses in the garden suffered a bit from the excessive rain, but are recovering!
