I believe that the UK is better off in the EU than out. As, I assume, does Neil Kinnock.
If we are to win the arguments against the nationalistic right, we must use rational arguments to show the benefits of membership. This cause is not helped by letters such as this one in today's Guardian.
I can't understand why he thought that people would be stupid enough to think that what he's saying there makes sense. I know that he's a politician and not an economist, but it really is unforgivable.
