things are fine and dandy in the land of alabama
for halloween, i went to the Boo party at the B&A Warehouse. SO MUCH FUN. i went as britney spears. bought a grey zip up hoody, pair of jeans that i cut off so short you could see the pockets hanging out the front, a pair of fishnets with holes, and life size baby doll. i wore the sweatshirt half zipped with a hot pink bra showing, just left my wig at home, smeared on some makeup, and i was ready to go. i've never had so many people take my picture. best costume ever!! so funny, so damn funny.
as for the boy. well, he was a sweetheart. a huge bunch of pink flowers showed up 3 friday's ago. then a dozen pink roses 2 friday's ago. called every day, sent messages just because. let him come up and visit this last friday, which was a lot of fun. we went to Mcwane Science center, the Pompeii exhibit, the zoo, and the Vulcan. saw a few movies, went out to some new resturants. but in the end, knew it wasn't going to happen. no real chemistry, not enough in common, couldn't keep the conversation flowing. oh well, it was fun, and a welcome change to be treated nicely. i'm not disappointed though, too much going on right now to worry about boys.
i'm going to nashville next week, monday-wed. i can't wait. my bosses are so much fun, i can't wait to see our nashville office, hang out with everyone, go to Station Inn. of course, it's a work trip, but i get to visit a bunch of stores, which is always great.
and in two weeks, home for thanksgiving!!! yay!!!
