i still exist
hey guys.
LIFE. IS. GOOD.
i have a great apartment, in a beautiful section of town. my drive every day is very peaceful. work is great. very challenging. and so far, i've saved the company $40,000. i have the greatest boss ever.
this week was the yearly Seminar. and i had the greatest time. got some super cool books, got to hear some very talented authors speak. jan karon, dotothea benton frank, vince poscente (he was great, i got to talk to him for about 20 minutes, such an inspiration). and the greatest part of the whole weekend, i got to meet Alan Alda!!! he was our big guest speaker, and my boss took me into a special meet and greet. he was so super nice, and i was on cloud 9 for the rest of the week.
i also went on a date last week. i can't remember when i went on a traditional date (sit down dinner that he paid for, then walked and talked for a few hours). the down side is that he lives in south florida. but i guess he likes me, cuz he's asked if it would be alright if he flew up one night next week to take me out to dinner. i'll keep ya'll updated.
oh, and i now have an alabama tag and license. i'm official.
*almost forgot. mom had knee surgery and got an iphone. life is weird for everyone right now.
