Well, school starts in a couple days. I had a very enjoyable winter break; lots of fun times with friends and family alike.
We had and an early Christmas at Grandma’s house in Lakewood and had a good time; lots of food and cookies and pies and all that. For the actual Christmas I was in Bellingham with my mom, her boyfriend, and my siblings, which was also quite nice. It was weird for there to be a “father-figure” at Christmas with my mom, but he’s a good guy. After opening presents we went to my Mom’s friend’s house and had a huge dinner with a few different families and got to play Apples to Apples.
After Bellingham I came back to Seattle and enjoyed not having anything in particular to do. My friend Artee came down for a couple nights, and since he hadn’t seen much of Seattle, I did some tourist-y stuff with him. Of course he was dissing on America most of the time, but I guess that’s to be expected.
Saw a few movies during break:
-Saw Charlotte’s Web with Alex and cried a little.
-Watched Eragon with Jessikah; it was pretty good, but could have been better.
-Saw Children of Men with Michael and Alex, and that was such a good movie.
Other stuff happened during the other parts of winter break, but I don’t quite remember it all right now.
Had a New Years party at our house last night. Really it started as a gathering of high school friends, but some of my house mates were there, and more people got invited, so we ended up with a full-fledged party which turned out to be so much fun.
Today we went to Roma’s mom’s house and gorged out on Filipino food. Mmm. After that we went to Alderwood and eventually ended up at Sushi Land.
