(no subject)
So… been enjoying all of this stormy weather. It’s actually kinda fun to play in the rain and wind, except for all the damage from fallen trees and the million people that didn’t have power.
Finals are over! Yay!
Had a very enjoyable dinner party last night at Chantel’s with some of my Oceanography/Fisheries friends. The food was very good and plentiful; I brought salad stuff, Erica made some really good chicken and salsa, Wendy brought some tasty homemade wine and a huge box of chocolates, Adam had appetizers, Brittany made mashed potatoes, Arron brought drinks, and Chantel had made stuffed mushrooms, fudge, and cookies. I realize now that most of our conversations were badmouthing professors and classmates that we weren’t too fond of, but it was great fun.
Came home today to find that most of Lakewood is out of power. Luckily our house has electricity though, and it’s kinda funny because no one south of our backyard has power. I feel bad for them.
