But as to the medical nature of the show, I love it! And I think it does play a major part. Yesterday, they were talking about the girl having hyperkalcemia as a result of the drugs she'd been taking/treated with and Kushons (sp?). I just learned about hyperkalcemia yesterday in Human Physiology! It's caused by an excess of potassium in your body, which is not being filtered out and excreted in the kidneys. How cool was that?! And of course, because K+ plays a major role in a lot of muscle functions (and your heart's the most important muscle there is!), it affects them. So, guess I did end up doing a little studying there after all...

I can also see House and Cuddy (the director) in a relationship, they have the sort of equality of intelligence and employment that could work. I like them the way they are now, adversarial and bitchy, but would not be adverse to seeing them hook up, if the writers did it right.
But, um, I have to admit, sometimes House and Wilson (the oncologist, Robert Sean Leonard) seem like an old married couple and it's a lot of fun. There's a connection there that's very interesting.
You're right, you're right, the show is a lot about the medicine. I guess to me the medicine is secondary and the interperonal drama is primary. I admit that I am frequently shallow.
