Ugh, I am just so tired today, I don't even know why. I want to curl up and sleep for a year.
I was hoping to have a little something interesting for ya'll today. Instead, here's more of that meme. Because it's a meme.
4 - Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?
I'm not precisely sure what a muse even is. People talk about muses but I don't know if my brain works in exactly that same way. I have certain character types about which I'm more likely to write, and there are characters that I relate to more than others. The only character who has ever, really, pushed his way into a fic was Castiel in
Just Another Gin Joint. I wasn't expecting him to show up, heck I wasn't expecting to write an epilogue, but suddenly there he was, being all BAMFy.
Though it is true that I don't tend to write for a fandom that doesn't have at least one character who hits that emotional sweet spot. And sometimes I find myself writing stories that I never would have expected just because I had a flash of inspiration while watching a movie (ex.
A Woman's Touch) and there are stories that I didn't expect to be as emotionally charged as they ended up being (ex. my
HP stories).
But, like I said, I'm not entirely sure what having a muse means. Because if a muse is a character that inspires you then I have more than I can even begin to recall.
