So, I've been hearing really awful things about Terminator: Salvation which is unfortunate. I've never been a huge fan of the Terminator universe (confession: I've never seen any of the movies all the way through. Awesome post. Will avoid Terminator in exchange for 3rd viewing of ST. Also will read a buttload of ST fic.

Still no ST icon. Too many to choose from! Overwhelmed!

The author has only written one chapter so far, but it is wonderful... intelligent, humorous and impressive, exploring the beginning of the relationship between Spock and Uhura. If the rest is as good as chapter one, this will be a marvelous tale.

In The Opposite of Logic, we have a fully fledged romance/drama, with Spock turning to the newly founded Vulcan colony and marrying a Vulcan woman for the sole reason to rebuild his race. He doesn't know, though, that he has left a pregnant Uhura behind. (This could have become the biggest, cheesiest crap on earth, but somehow the author manages to tell a thrilling, wildly romatic tale, with spot on characterizations, great dialogues and a lot of delightful humor).
