One of my goals for the upcoming family sojurn (other than not contracting the porcine super!flu) is to get some writing done. I feel like my brain has been in some kind of creative dead zone for the past few months, it's very annoying.

So, since I saw this on my f-list today and I'm going to have a bit of time on my hands, maybe you all wouldn't mind helping me jump start my storytelling motor.

If you would, please give me a character (or characters) and a prompt and I'll write you something in return. You can ask me for anything, the sky's the limit. I'll be more likely to write it if I'm reasonably-well acquainted with the source material but I'll leave the prompting up to you all.

And as a bit of a teaser and a preemptive thank you, here's a bit from the AU that I'm hoping this exercise will help along its way:

Victor Henricksen's sour mood deepened and he turned to pace along the concrete curb that was the only barrier between the runway and the one-story box that served as the airstrip’s terminal. A year ago he wouldn’t have worried about what some Grand High Asshole from D.C. thought of his appearance, a year ago he would’ve told the ASAC that he was too busy tracking down psychopaths to play nanny to the Director’s latest pet, but that was a year ago. Now he was willing to kneel down and pucker up for whatever ass presented itself just so long as it got him out of here and back to where the real action was. There was nothing worse than cooling your heels at the rear while your nation was under attack.

not paid by the word, spn
