(no subject)
Classes started back up today and instead of studying all I want to do is sit around and read fanfic. You'd think I'd have gotten enough of that during break but apparently there is no such thing as 'enough.' Good to know that the internet addiction is still running strong.
I am so bad. So many comments to reply to and yet, here I am, posting another blathering entry.
Had a good weekend. Got to hang out with the Baylor sister. We mainlined West Wing season 2 on Friday night. I proved that I am a big nerd (not that there was ever any doubt) when I had to look up what Federal Rule 6e said (BTW, it has nothing to do with grand jury investigations, Aaron Sorkin got that wrong) and spent a good 10 minutes looking up 'leaf-peeping' in the dictionary and then trying to determine what it could mean when it wasn't to be found. I also pulled out Garret v. Dailey when we were discussing who could be sued (for the record, the case proves that even 5 year-olds can be sued). It's really good of my friends to put up with my craziness.
The majority of last week was spent watching O.C. season 3. I'll freely admit that I've fast-forwarded through huge chunks of it. Some bits are great and others are just plain boring. It's sad, if only Mischa Barton were a better actress I'm sure I'd care about Marissa's pain much more then I do.
Saturday's Doctor Who was highly enjoyable and the promo for the next few episodes was even better. I just really, really like Martha. I love the ways in which she's similar to and yet completely different from Rose.
My brothers showed up today and spent a good hour laying around my apartment doing absolutely nothing. The Big Lug took a nap and the Wrestler browsed through my 'Birds of Prey' trade and then watched boring cop shows on the History Channel. And they bought me ice cream. Brothers are very random.
I really wish break had been longer. I feel like I still have a million things I wanted to accomplish. *sigh* C'est le vie.
