So, two nights ago the Da broke the computer. we're not completely sure what happened but I think it mostly had to do with the Family Computer being old and having too much crap on it. After calling Microsoft and dealing with the fucktards in their Help section we've decided it's a hardware problem but have no desire to call Dell and deal with the fuctards in their Help section. The DSL software has therefore been loaded onto the Mum's computer and we carry on, anon.

Spent most of the day making Christmas cookies and expect to spend most of tomorrow and the upcoming week doing the same. Made the Family Fruitcake last night and before you all retch at the idea of a fruitcake let me just tell you that this is the Greatest Fruitcake in the World. It's tasty and moist and delicious. You know me, I can't stand sub-par food and this is Quality with a capital 'Q'. A Lipton Family Tradition of which I am most proud.

Have been having some crazy dreams lately. One night I dreamt that I was interviewing for a job with WETA and then the next night I dreamt that I was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar because I was a producer on some movie. Another night I dreamt that the Mum had won an Oscar for the screenplay to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and I went around asking her "Why did you never tell me this?" and convinced her to start writing again. That was the same night that I dreamt some sort of action movie with Adam Baldwin saving a bunch of Chinese peasants from a couple centuries ago. It's very strange for me to have such vivid dreams so many nights in a row.

Dang it's cold. Coldest December of anyone's remembrance. I've hardly ventured outside the past couple of days because, wow, my nose is going to fall off or something. Even the Pup is subdued, though that might be some sort of chocolate induced hangover. (He got into some things he wasn't supposed to and spent the whole weekend running up and down the stairs. Rather aggravating)

My crazy Ron story is actually coming along. Words cannot express how surprised I am by this. I'm actually writing something and it's more then a few paragraphs long. Maybe there is a Santa Claus after all ...

Narnia comes out on Friday and I already have tickets. Words cannot express how excited I am to see this movie.

blather, narnia, dream an impossible dream, freakishly cold, krazehness
