yesterday was world suicide prevention day. today is the sixth anniversary of 9/11. those terrorists on suicide missions on those planes should have paid attention the day before... right.

i was driving behind a black yukon today that had a license plate cover that read "MY OTHER RIDE IS A US SOLDIER."

i laughed. alone in my car. a lot.

you know what?
everything is going to be just fine.
i won't say i knew it all along, because i didn't.
but an early morning talk with the woman i look up to most in life made everything make sense.
and a soundtrack to back my rough week thanks to the struggles of the most beautiful man on earth.
