Extreme Loathing
I really hate the place of our government right now. If my LJ is being tapped, I'm probably going to be blamed for terrorism, spreading negative propoganda, etc. but I really don't care anymore. I've been reading about all the rhetoric being thrown around at the UN this past week and it's pretty sickening. I'm starting to have more faith in the Iranian President than I do in my own. I don't think I have ever had any faith in GW and I probably never will. Anyone that condones violent actions above peaceful ones, does not deserve my respect. It's like the attitude of you either "shoot it, stuff it, or eat it" mentality of the Texan has moved on to encompass human life as well. I was listening to NPR recently and found that in the last 3 years, half a million (500,000) people have died in the Middle East from Lebanon to Afghanistan. WTF? We're going on four years of this war now with no help to our troops over there, still living off of what we gave them 4 years ago. Troops are no longer reenlisting, well because they don't want to die and don't believe in the war anymore. What if the President decides to make up some lies about Iran and that we need to go to war with them too? This is not Iraq. They have an enormous army, equipped with Subs, Frigates, Missiles, Tanks, and land to sea torpedos with speeds of 200 MPH! Is our country really that serious? They must think that 2600 American lives is small change and not worth much if they are willing to sacrifice more in a war with Iran, which would then bring Every Single Middle Eastern Country against us. Then what? Oh guess what....No More Oil you Stupid Americans! How will we live? Americans don't know how to live without oil. What are we going to do, impose green regulations on everyone right on the spot? It's as ludicrous as California sueing the Auto industry for Greenhouse Emissions! Take a look at yourself California! If you did something besides build freeways for people to get around on, oh like Metros, more busses, light rail, etc, then maybe you wouldn't have such a pollution problem. Hello!
God...people are insane and stupid. Speaking of, Hugo Chavez???? He's the biggest Bandwagoner that I have ever seen! Aligning himself with Cuba and Iran because they don't get a long with the US? Please, worry about your own country than hating on us. Which is exactly what we should be doing. Worry about America for once and not about everyone else. Your children aren't even going to be educated because of this warmongering.
