So. Yeah.

We checked out the apartment today. The model apartment, anyway. The people who own the complex are so completely laid-back and easygoing, they just gave us the key to the place. Didn't ask for our names or anything, didn't take us to the place themselves to show us around. They just let us have free reign of the place. And it was awesome. I've seen the place before when Daphne and I visited her friend who lives in one of the apartments to get a feel for the set-up of the place. It's four-bedroom (meaning myself, Duckie, Linden, and Jessica), and each room has its own bathroom. They all connect to a pretty big living room, which is exciting for some reason. The kitchen is tiny, but it's no big deal. It has a bar. We're totally going to get barstools to put around it. It's got a balcony. The rent includes all utilities, cable, and internet, which is a sweet deal. Oh, and the closets, they're not too big, but sort of walk-in. You can fit a dresser in there to free up space in your room. That's exciting.

I'm just...so fucking excited about this. I want to move in now, but I'm absolutely broke. I've got to put down a $400 deposit as soon as we sign the lease. I mean, we don't have the place yet, but it's pretty much guaranteed. We've got to turn in the applications, and then...well, I'm not sure where we go from there. I just assume Daphne knows how to handle all this, haha. I really, desperately want to decorate this place. I already have the urge to start a sketch of the place and get an idea of where to put furniture. Isn't that dorky?! And Daphne and I have already decided we're gonna do crafts for the place, paint pictures to hang up, and we're probably gonna go down to Davie county to visit Jessica and Linden to help paint some of the furniture Linden's dad makes just so it's all pretty.

And of course, everyone's invited to our place. Man, it's going to be unbelievable. I don't want to get my hopes up and think this arrangement is totally going to turn my life around, but I think it'll be an awesome experience. My own apartment...fucking wow.

I just kinda rambled that out.
