Things That Are Happening:

I lost my purse last night. Unfortunately, right before I was going to go and see Zannah, so I was left all stranded out in Streatham without being able to get to where we were meant to meet, for I had no cash and no travelacard. Bah.
I also had pretty much no food, but Grace gave me a tin of tomatoes, so I could make pasta sauce. Go grace. And Suzanne (who showed up this weekend) made me cups of tea while I spent my evening phoning banks to cancel all my cards.
Purse was lost on a bus, so I tried contacting the bus depot on the offchance that it'd been found by the driver instead of one of the charming passangers, but no such luck. Oh well. Am perhaps most irritated about the fact that this purse also contained money my mother had given me (in euros she couldn't be bothered to change back to pounds. Quite a lot of euros, really).

Steve is maybe coming to stay with me for a bit while he tries to find somewhere to live. Not sure yet. It seems very possible, however.

Suzanne has gone out to buy a TV and a video player. Soon we will have more forms of entertainment including a bunch of random consoles, mostly Suzanne's (bonus: she's got a PS2, so we have a DVD player too), though I've got my N64.

I need to go to a bank and wave ID at them until they give me some cash, as it'll take a while for my new bank cards to arrive. And I need a new purse.

I have just realised that my Stealth Ninja Pirate bunny-sticker was in my purse, too. Aww. Hopefully whoever took it gets SNP'd. *glare*

On the plus side, I recently read Anansi Boys, and enjoyed it very very much.
