When Gremlins Attack
Okay.
Bad: my computer's cd drive has died.
Good: it managed to copy five episodes of Bleach to my computer as its dying act. So I figure it still loved me, it was just getting a bit old and sad. Awwww.
Bad: computer as a whole is becoming rapidly less functional (occasionally crashing, which is frankly unheard of for this thing, or was when it was healthy... shedding keys... being slow... etc). Fear this all relates to the one 'it got kicked very very hard' incident some time ago.
Good: Andre has managed to get me enough spare parts to construct an entire computer from, courtesy of Serge!
...soo, for the time being, I have a semi-functional computer. Soon I will have a semi-functional computer and a functional computer. Of course, functional computer won't be able to get online here until we get a real internet connection, so I'll still be going online from semi-functional computer. Heh. I hate tech. ;)
And now I must go, for I have to meet Andre at the station, and then I'm helping him move into HIS new flat up in Coventry.
