There isn't too much to the night so far beyond dinner with Peter, and that's kind of the way Lionel likes it. Quieter nights are always better, even if a party here and there does liven things up.
The boarding house is mostly quiet, even with Lionel's new neighbours (the soldiers seem nice enough, though the new man down the hall just gives Lionel the creeps and he's glad he doesn't see much of him at all). Something nice is playing on the small radio in the corner, though it's turned down low, and Lionel's examining a bottle of something left in his mailbox when he checked it earlier that day.
"It's called ambrosia," he tells Peter, turning the bottle to show him the label. "I guess it's some kind of drink."
