Wow, so Halloween has already come and gone. Probably one of my favorite holidays of the year. Just because its spooky.
So some stuff that has happened a while ago.
A couple of Friday's ago, we had our band's show at Fantasia. We played really well and I was surprised because we hadn't been able to practice all together for awhile. A lot of kids showed up too, which was nice to see some new faces.
Went to the last Racetrack show and got to see Peter Parker. I was really excited! I was bummed a bit after the show but they played a great set and I talked to Meghan for a bit and she really wants to pursue a girl-band thing. That would be cool. Afterwards Andrea and I went out to the Bars and danced it up!
The next day Dragline had a show in Seattle for the Shookone's homecoming themed record release party. Hopefully Eric and I will get the picture we took together and our band photo. Everyone worked so hard and it made all this effort to put on a great show but right before it was our turn to play one of the kids had a cartiac arrest and had to be taken to the hospital. The show was cancelled and luckily the guy is alright. It was pretty scary. It made me really appreciate everyone around me. A little bummed about the show a bunch of us that were there for teh show all went out for cupcakes. Amy was there hanging out with us and later we got to meet up with my brother and take him off-campus for a bit. That was rad.
This past last weekend I didn't do much except for work and research. I went out Saturday night to the Ghoul's Night Out that Loa put on and it was FU-Na. Eric and I got a little tipsy so I was all warm and fuzzy even though it was colder than ever outside. We helped clean up afterwards and then Bo, Derek, Rose, Keith and a few other friends all hung out. It was a sweet show and night.
Before that Eric and I made a cat-o-lantern and it turned out to be fantastic. I had to throw it out the other day, though, because it was already moldy. Later was some pumpkin pie that I was craving and a scary movie fest! Ahhh, i luv it.
On Halloween I went down to Collette's with Eve. It was actually pretty rad because all of my old roommates were there and we had a little mini-reunion. Collette had her place all decorated and spooky. After some drinking games, foosball, and bobing for apples I was set for the night!
I just got a e-mail recently from one of my best-friends saying she is two month's pregnant like the good mormon girl she is. I AM happy for her, but damn she is young. She lives out in Idaho now with her husband so hopefully I will be able to go out there and visit her sometime if she doesn't come home for the holidays.
Not much else is new in my life except a lot of research and planning for classes and presentations. Hummm, I want a break!
Peace~
