So I should have updated this thing while the memories were still fresh in my head but I was waiting for some pics to post because I haven't ever really done that in a post before.
Here's some from the Montana Trip. All I can say to sum it up was that it was waaay too much fun!!!
Rodiez.
More pics here....
Start'n the long drive, D-rock.
Andrea gett'n her hair cut by Shaun from Tennis Pro, on the streets of Seattle.
"Happy mardikaskds, haunkisfdkls, uh, Cinco De Myo" We're actually so tipsy we had to hold each other up!
Play'n live.
The Typical Aces as the people of Missoula liked to call them.
So tired from a long weekend...
Yeah, all in all it was awesome! It was just the mini-break I needed from school, life, everything. Plus, I don't think I've laughed that hard in a looong time... I don't know if it was from being so sleep-deprived that anything becomes funny or just from the sheer fact that I was hang'n out with cool peeps and gett'n to know them better. Yeah, the drive was super long but luckily Bo's mom, Paula, who is super nice, let us stay in Spokane so we could sleep a 'lil bit. I still can't believe I went.. it was so crazy to do so. I was so exhausted when we got back that skipped the next day of school and slept all day. That day was truely heaven.
Last week I recently got my hair cut and it's funky. I love it! I haven't done anything to it for almost a year to let it recover and now its so healthy and more fun. Sweet.
I had a b-day celebration Wednesday with friends at Osakia sushi so I could see them and hang out. So many people showed up which I didn't expect at all and even got Eve and Collette to come. Rose and Derek brought party favors that upped the festivities and Eric surprised me with a b-day cake (awww it made me melt it was so thoughtful). Afterwards the crew went out to go bowling... fuck yeah! At first I wasn't really sure since I was turning 22 and it felt kind of highschool but with a big group of people its so wacky it doesn't really matter.
Eric and I celebrated on my actual b-day on Thursday and he took me to Nimbus, a resturant in the tallest building in B'ham, and we got a window seat. So romantic. Afterwards we saw "THank you for Smoking" which was a great satire... liked it a lot. We basically had the movie theatre to ourselves so that was cool.
All I can say is that 22 feels a lot older than 21... a whole year older as Steve would say. But I still feel young and I got plenty of time to do what I want and its been great doing it with the people I love around me.
This weekend I went home and it was interesting. First off got stuck in Friday traffic like a mutha. Sucked ass. Anyway got to spend some time with the folks. The next day I got up at the butt-crack of dawn to support my brother because I know he would do it in a heart beat for me. He was competing at districts for track. He's improved sooo much but it wasn't enought to go to state. I could tell my dad was excited that I was there because he was chatting my ear off and introducing me to everyone he knows. He's such a good coach and even though he retired as a track coach he knows more and has more passion than any of those numb-nuts trying to run invites. That's probably why they ask him to help out every year because he's the only one who knows how to do anything... I love that guy. Kyle finished off a good year with a PR even thought he didnt' make it to state he still knew I was proud of him and plus he got to go to Prom that night! My 'lil bro... sheesh. I didn't get to see him in his tux becaus our band has a show in Seattle at the paradox! I've always wanted to play there and it was so cool. I'm really like'n the new songs we've been busting out and they've been sounding good at shows. If people aren't doing anything Friday they should see out show in Bellingham. WOrd. Sunday I celebrate my birthday and mother's day with my fam. and a few othe relatives that stopped by. Got to see my older sis who came down. That was awesome, just hung out in general.
Drove back up to B'ham with Eric and relax for the rest of the weekend.
Today I went to Otion with Andreaus and made a turtle soap and then went over to Eric, Matt and Joe's place for a barbeque and frisbee 500! I really enjoy hang'n out with people when its nice out... such good times.
Peace~
