Yipper Skippers

This is the most I've posted in a long time. Nothing to freak out about but have been having a nice spring break.
Sometimes with school and stuff I just need to get out of B'ham so this is perfect.

A while ago my little sister and I explored downtown together by going to Otto's bagels for breakfast and then rummaging through Archibalds and Dumpster Values that moved next to Old School. Ahh, everything is changing from when I was a kid, but I guess thats the way it goes. I was telling Jayme how I used to go to shows downtown when I was like 13 or 14 with friends or my older sis Jen and would have so much fun just hang'n and listening to music. How punk was I? Well, now that was almost ten years ago and I'm still going to shows but in the past I think she's felt left out I feel like I should include my lil sis more because she is becoming a hip lady. I'm glad she is joining me tomorrow to go meet Jen.

I've been working out a lot. Hopefully I can keep this up when school starts underway again. I did really well this quarter grade wise and I think that helped my parents see that being in something that I love does help. The other night was amusing because I showed my parents my band's t-shirt for Dragline and I don't think either of them liked it but my mom was more enthusiastic about it than my dad. He's so funny.

Tuesday I got to stay with Eric in his comfortable bed in Tacoma because I went to the Ghostface show with him in Seattle. Hip hop shows are strange but I do enjoy the change of scenario once in a while and seeing an amazing MC like that live is well worth (Wu-Tang muther fucka). Oh man, this is going to sound really cheezy but when we got back to Eric's house his cat was there and I got so excited to be able to pet it and chill with it. I'm really tired of not having a pet in my life and I think Eric and I might get a cat from a shelter or something when we get back from Spring Break.

The next day my mom met up with me to pick me up and to visit the Tacoma mall. I know, who cares right, but I haven't been there in such a long time that it was kind of cool. It would have been more fun to go to Ikea or something but we were looking from some nice dress slacks for my 'lil bro in the Big and Tall sections. They don't have any of those stores down where we live so it was a must. He's going to Tolo! My bro is growing up and being a ladies man.
I also convinced my mom to buy some stuff for herself because she never takes the time to treat herself anymore especially since she worries about all of us kids. She, out of all people, definitely deserves it!

Today I've just been chill'n. I went to the paperback book exchange because I'm a nerd like that and like to read novels. I remember when I was little going in there with my mom and playing hide and go seek with my siblings and now I go in there for books. ha.
My bro and I were also hang'n out tonight because I'm going to be taking off tomorrow to visit my older sister in Seattle. It always seems like so little time I have to hang out with my family.
I made my parents fajita's tonight and I think they were quite impressed. Mmmmm, delicious.

Super stoked on hanging out with Jen is Seattle (maybe go bowling?) and then seeing Eric Sunday and going to Mighty-O's again before we head back up to Bellingham. It's an addicting vegan doghnut shop (never go there! addicting!).

If yall wanna hang out when I get back to Bellingham let me know!

Peace,

Julie
