On Wisdom

Wisdom is something to treasure. Anyone can have knowledge, can store bits of information inside their heads, but to be able to use those bits productivlely is a skill that one cannot learn in a book or from a teacher. It is a subtle gift, given by life’s lessons or naturally from the Higher Power.

What is wisdom? Does anyone besides God truly know? Many of my peers consider me wise, but most adults and a good lot of people think me foolish, and rash. Is wisdom constant, or ever changing? How can we know? WIsdom does not reside in mathematical equations or formulas, instead, in depends upon what one wants in life, and what seems most important to a person.

For intstance, let’s say that there was a man who stood at a crossroads. If he went to the left, he would find innumerable riches. If he went to the right, he would find peace. Some would find it wise to go to the left, others to the right. Is one of them right, or wrong? Is one option the wise choice for everyone? Are Wisdom’s answers also set in stone, like Knowledge’s? Is one thing always unwise? In another always wise?

I wonder....
