OH MY, THIS IS SO MUCH LOVE!!!
The tranquility between the conversation of the brothers is really well written. And no, you don't suck at wrapping things up at all, you've explained well enough and you also left enough for the readers to ponder :)!

I remember a few chapters ago, in Lyle's flashback, Neil went out to "buy fish" (or was it chicken? I can't remember, hahaha). Apparently, Lyle knew where he went, but as readers, we weren't given the information of where exactly Neil went. So where did Neil go? Practice running? Shooting empty cans XD?

Thank you~!!! Phew, I'm glad it wasn't that bad. I didn't want to really narrow the ending, so I left it a bit open. The epilogue might come and trash it, though... ~.~

I think it was chicken ^^; (fish was what their mother was making during the cross country flashback). Ah, sorry, I guess I didn't make that clear enough. A few sentences above that short flashback, Lyle said that the last he saw of Neil was of his back when he told Lyle he'd be right back.

And then, "I'm going to buy chicken. I'll be right back." ... but he never came back...

Something like that. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough >_>

Ahh okay, haha, sorry I wasn't clear when I state my question either XD. But yes, my question is, where did Neil went after he said he's going to buy chicken, since he never came back. Or is that "never came back" portion of the sentence just a metaphoric/dramatic way of saying, that Neil in general never came back until the beginning of your fiction?

Um... He never came back, as in, he never went back to Lyle. As for where he *did* go...that's another story altogether. ^^; Primarily, though, he went to earn money. Lots of money...

For some reason, I keep on having this idea from your fic that Lyle is the gullible child, and Neil often smothers Lyle with cruel kindness. <--which I think Neil is a "bastard" for doing something like that to Lyle

I hope they will have a flashback in the novel or the anime to show that these two brothers actually sit down and have a good talk. THEY NEED ONE XD.

Now /that/ is a very good interpretation of Lyle's character. Actually, Neil's character too. Wow, that sentence shook me for a moment. You're EXACTLY RIGHT! But Lyle's lets himself be gullibled (I'm making up words), especially since he /knew/ Neil was lying.

But...but...in the anime/novel, they don't meet each other at all before Neil (pretends to) die (but is actually just hiding in hawaii). XDD

What did I do XD?
The only thing that I can imagine the both of them doing after they're drunk is *beep*. I am not a huge fan of BL, but from what I can understand, it usually ends up like that, whether if they're capable of doing something like that XD. So much for twincest, rofl.

And I think he'd be fishing too LOL. Or riding the waves, or simply just like Wang, watching the Meisters from afar and does his hand gesture thing, while saying "Change the world". HAHAHAHA. Or possibly practicing making curry for the group XD.

I think Tieria will commit seppuku if that were to happen XDD. Then Allelujah will keep on calling Marie...and Setsuna, he'll blame himself for not being a gundam at the most pivotal moment XDD.

Neil's probably the type that if there's someone else who he "thinks" can do a better job than him, he'd gladly let that person do it lol. But then he'll have this sekret dark side, where he'll go and lock himself up and train until he can surpass the other person. My, what a horrible person Neil has become, hahaha 8D;;
