The Cuteness that is Caroline Forbes
During brunch with goldy_dollar today, who kindly took time out of her exam-induced hibernation, we got talking about the whole look of The Vampire Diaries (I know, it's highly shocking that we should be discussing such a thing ;). That conversation inspired me to do a post on 5 of my favourite outfits of the lovely Miss Caroline Forbes. There are certainly more, but I couldn't find pictures that showed them clearly (i.e. in good lighting conditions).
This one just took my breath away the first time we get a glimpse of her at the masquerade ball. The stunning colour, the one shouldered look, and the shirring accented by the silver all combine to perfection.
This one is just so fresh, and sweet, and I love this colour on her. The solid sweater mixed with the belted, print dress is all together charming!
I knew as soon as I saw this gown in the box that it would be timelessly beautiful on her, and I was right. The sparkly accents on the bodice and the ethereal looking skirt finished off with the classic white gloves appeals to my inner sense of fairytale princess.
Then we have her rocking an awesome leather jacket & black camisole with a great patterned skirt. The zippers, studs, and 3/4 sleeves on the jacket all make it great to look at. Combining that with the skirt makes the whole thing fresh and lovely.
Finally there is the adorable plaid micro-mini with a navy sweater. I couldn't find a full shot of her, but I remember thinking that this look sure accented her killer legs. I think blue suits her very well and the Scottish in me appreciates the plaid to no end.
There you have it. My shallow thoughts on how Caroline looks. She really does represent sunshine, and rainbows, and puppies to me ;)
