For today's prompt, I took "minor character" to mean a character that only appeared in one episode. I realize this may not be correct, but after narrowing it down to 5 contenders and finally choosing one, I didn't want to redefine the parameters.

Day 23 - Your favorite minor character

She ended up being my choice for her joie de vivre, her friendship with Stefan, her witty dialogue, and her ability to give it back to Damon.
In the short time that she was in Mystic Falls, she gave us good information about being a vampire (older means stronger, and vamp sex is out of this world), made Stefan smile in the midst of the disaster that is his social life, educated Elena to the ways of love, and gave us a glimpse of Stefan's backstory (Bon Jovi concert in NYC).
