a bit cheesed

Why do people ask me for my opinion and for my advice simply to ignore me altogether? I do have valid points to make, I have heaps of them in fact. Why does nobody take them seriously? I have 20 years of life experience, all of which I should be able to call upon in giving advice and expressing myself to my friends and peers, but for some reason it ( Read more... )

I'm sorry. People seem to ask for advice almost as a formality, but if it isn't in line with what they wanted to do in the first place they discount it and use excuses for ignoring perfectly reliable advice (like being younger, etc). *hugs* I hope other things are going better for you.
