First of all thank you to everyone who expressed birthday wishes last Friday or thereabouts. I was on vacation at the time and had little to no internet access, and have been scrambling to catch up at work since I got home Tuesday night, so I'm grievously behind on my LJing. What's sad is that I'm only around 2 hours away from RAFTING!!! and I'm not out doing it.

Well, it's pretty late in the day so you've got a good excuse. :)

Anyway, as far as I know empirically, the Pacific Northwest is always a sunny, hot and sultry place, so until I go back and learn otherwise I choose to leave it that way in my mind...
