Gah. I'm so bad for updates right now I'm sorry. I've got exams coming up (first one is on friday O_O EEP!) and I can't really write as much as I have a LOT of stuff to remember. However, I managed to get this written, I apologise about the long wait on Glitter Stained Cage. It's being a bit tempermental at the moment. I hope this is alright though.

Part: 20 of ?
The sun had long since set as Hankyung threw himself face down on Siwon's bed, exhausted, aching and still trying to shake images of Donghae burning in the sunlight from his mind. After Siwon had helped Donghae, Hankyung had returned from the bedroom only to find Eunhyuk and Henry watching him eagerly, yet nervously for news on what had happened. When ZhouMi had accompanied him back to his own dormitory a few hours afterwards, Hankyung was hard done by not to cry himself after the younger pair had done nothing but since he'd finished explaining, and up until Kangin had returned.
Now, as he lay sprawled like a starfish across the duvet top, clutching the vampire's pillow to his chest, something he'd realised was quickly becoming a habit of his, Hankyung sighed heavily as he waited for his room mate to return from wherever he'd taken Donghae. With another sigh, Hankyung rolled onto his side and curled up around the pillow, breathing deeply against the fabric as he tried to grab a bit of sleep before Siwon returned, knowing full well he would be spending most of the night once he returned clutching to the male in panic after everything that had happened and was possibly going to happen.
With a small yawn, Hankyung snuggled down further and listened to the blissfully silent room, having grown accustomed to the hectic volume of the two dormitories, trying to ignore the niggling feeling in the back of his mind that things we're just going to get worse. He had seen the look of wariness and slight horror on Kangin's face as Eunhyuk had all but screamed at Shindong when he'd voiced that Donghae had deserved what he'd gotten for double crossing everyone. He had seen the terror written in Eunhyuk's deep, still slightly glazed eyes as Hankyung had explained how Kibum had broken Donghae's protective bracelet. He had seen the way Kyuhyun had met him on the stairway, worry, hatred and despair spiked across his normally stoic features. And he had seen the way Yesung had clutched Ryeowook's trembling form against him in their shared room as the younger male sobbed over the damage they'd seen, his own eyes blank and unreadable as Hankyung and Kyuhyun walked past. He could see his friends disappearing one by one from around him, vanishing, struck down by injury or almost death, he could almost envision the moment when he'd once again be along in a vastly unfamiliar country, still not completely fluent in the language, encased once again in the swirling guilt that everything was all his fault, that he was just a giant catalyst for an uncontrollable explosion.
“Hyung?” Jolting awake Hankyung almost bolted upright at the soft voice against his ear, eyes wide in panic as a small chuckle brushed over his skin. “Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.” Turning at the sound of the deep, tired-thick voice that was oh so familiar despite the lack of enthusiasm, Hankyung blinked as he found himself peering up into bright brown drooping eyes as Siwon hovered over him.
“Siwon-ah?” Hankyung breathed, rubbing his eyes as he sat up, the Vampire moving backwards to stand upright, causing Hankyung to gasp as he did so. Siwon looked a mess. His arms, chest and face were all littered with deep scratches and welts, some long, some minuscule, all littered in a macabre cross-hatch design, the traditional pale skin almost unnoticeable underneath. Blood stained his cheekbones, his arms and his normally crisp white shirt, the skin on his inner forearms was a glowing scarlet burnt and blistered, the tips of his blood stained fingers black, almost like charcoal. “What happened?”
“Oh this?” Siwon questioned, gesturing carefully towards the many marks across him. “This is from Donghae Hyung.” he added with a small sigh.
“Donghae-yah?!” Hankyung exclaimed tugging on Siwon's shirt until the younger male had sat down beside him, watching almost confused as Hankyung carefully lifted one hand up to his face, examining the scorch marks down his inner forearms. “How did he do all this?”
“The scorch marks on my arms are from when I picked him up, he burnt me.” Siwon explained before carefully taking his arm back to wriggle the tips of his fingers. “Those are not an injury, that is from carrying Donghae Hyung, his...skin was turning black in some parts, like charcoal, and it rubbed off when I was holding him down.”
“Is...Is he alright?” Hankyung queried, seeing the deep, grave look across Siwon's face. “He's...He's not dead is he?” he added quickly, the dream of his friends vanishing popping up again behind his eyes.
“No, he's alive, He's resting at Changmin-sshi's at the moment, he's got my twin brother's waiting on him hand and foot.” Siwon replied with a small smile. “Changmin-sshi said he might as well stay there while he heals and then he can also keep Minho-yah and Minhwan-ah company, as they've been rather bored apparently since Jaejoong-sshi took them away from here that day you met him.”
“What about all this then?” Hankyung enquired, pointing towards the bloodstains as his other fingers traced gently, along one of the many scratches down the male's arms.
“When I first took him to Changmin-sshi, he was in great pain, couldn't get him to keep still while we stripped him, his skin was coming away with his clothes.” Siwon explained, Hankyung frowning as he spotted the small shiver in Siwon's spine as he spoke. “we eventually got the clothes off him, but he was in a bad way, and I found out that when me and Wookie-yah had tried to heal him, it had done nothing but aggravate it, Changmin-sshi had to strip away the layers of burnt skin to heal the new ones back in place.”
“Had to strip his skin?!” Hankyung echoed in horror. “That sounds awful.”
“It really is.” Siwon sighed, raking his fingers through his hair and wincing as his arms protested. “The scratches and stuff are from when he clawed at me to try and stop me when we tried to take his clothes off, and the blood's because of how far down Changmin-sshi had to strip.” he explained before staring at his arm, Hankyung watching almost confused until he blinking in shock as the small scratches and welts slowly morphed smaller, the skin knitting and returning to it's perfect white shade. “He kept begging me to kill him and finish it off.”
“So how does he look now?” Hankyung questioned, shaking his head as he realised he'd been staring open mouthed.
“He looks a lot better. If he had been human he'd have had hell of a lot of skin grafts on the way. But luckily for him, Changmin just healed new layers of skin back onto him. He's fine, just tender.” Siwon replied before pausing with a small wistful smile. “And he'll be a bit pink for a while.”
“So...he's not going to die now?” Hankyung murmured, before jolting in shock as Siwon leant over and pressed a small tender kiss to his temple, waving his bloodstained fingers in answer when Hankyung held his arms out in a silent gesture for Siwon to hold him.
“He's not going to die. So you can tell Eunhyuk-sshi that tomorrow as well.” Siwon replied with a smile, watching amused as Hankyung's face fell into confusion. “Donghae Hyung explained about what he'd done to warrant such a response off Kibum-ah. Plus I could hear you're thoughts from the other dorm when you were panicking over Eunhyuk-sshi and Henry-yah.”
“Oh...” Hankyung stated, falling silent as Siwon got to his feet and shuffled into the bathroom. “OH!” Hankyung repeated jumping up and following the younger male into the en-suite as he remembered something, watching as Siwon peered questioningly at him as he unfastened his stained shirt. “I forgot to ask...how did you manage to talk to me earlier?”
“Ah that.” Siwon smiled before carelessly tossing the shirt material over into the corner and into the wash basket, moving across to run his fingers under the tap, watching as the blood washed off his skin and splattered against the sink basin, not saying anything else until Hankyung came up beside him and wrapped his slender arms around his waist, head resting against his shoulder blade. “I wasn't actually talking to you. I can hear your thoughts at great distances after I drank from you...It's another bond. And you hearing me was actually a surprise to me. It's from the fact we slept together anyway.”
“You Vampires and your bonds.” Hankyung sighed, pressing a small kiss to Siwon's shoulder. “Speaking of bonds, I think that particular bond of ours needs strengthening don't you?” Hankyung smirked turning Siwon round and pushing him against the sink. “Especially since I'm not as traumatised as last time.”
“I'm...rather achy right now.” Siwon sighed, responding to the kiss regardless as Hankyung's fingers trailed along his abdominal muscles. “Otherwise I would, goodness knows I need something good to focus on for once.”
“Well...just let me do all the work.” Hankyung smiled wrapping his arms round Siwon's neck and bringing his face down for another kiss. “You need this as much as I do.”
“...Well if you put it that way.” Siwon smirked before allowing Hankyung to pull him out of the en-suite, falling backwards compliant as Hankyung pushed him down across the bedding, blinking a moment later as Hankyung slid a leg across his thighs and straddled him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
it was another week before anything else remotely disruptive happened amongst the two groups, and Hankyung had almost managed to fool himself that everything was going to settle down into a blissful calm once again. There had been a bit of an uproar mid week when Kangin had walked into the canteen at Lunch after having been absent all morning, a pale but beaming Leeteuk on his arm, however, Hankyung had decided that this had been a good disruptive event and had happily bounced across with Henry who had sat with him once again to greet the eldest wolf.
Combined with the fact that Leeteuk's presence around the dorm seemed to have registered with the comatose form of Sungmin and the male had moved for the first time since the attack, Hankyung felt that the week couldn't have gotten any better. The group tables were looking fuller, everyone seemed less worried, less haggered and more like their normal selves, and he was positive the feud between his two groups of friends was slowly disappearing.
“Siwon-ah!” Hankyung called as he walked around the ground, Leeteuk's arm linked in his own as the Chinese male explained about what had been going on while the wolf had been healing, Hankyung frowning as he spotted the pale, ill tint that still clung to the elder male's skin. “Siwon-ah!” he repeated as the Vampire turned from where he'd been walking back from their dormitory a rather happy smile across his features, a smile that grew as he spotted the two male's strolling around the grounds.
“Hyung!” Siwon smiled happily as he jogged over. “Donghae Hyung's back. I just brought him back just now. He's just getting his uniform on then he's coming to lunch.” he explained, causing Hankyung to smile happily in response, Leeteuk's own smile just visible above his face mask as he regarded his younger brother.
“Hankyung-ah's been telling me about all your dilemmas you've been having lately Si-Si.” Leeteuk smiled quickly detaching himself from Hankyung as Siwon seemed to realise just who was stood with Hankyung.
“Dilemma isn't the word Jungsu Hyung. I think disaster is more apt.” Siwon sighed, casting a wary glance around him as Leeteuk tugged on his shirt in a hint for him to hug him.
“Don't worry, none of my pack are here, they are all in the Canteen....except for Eunhyuk-ah who's in the dance studio.” Leeteuk replied, Siwon seemingly satisfied with the answer as he quickly moved and wrapped his arms around his secret half brother, Hankyung smiling as he watched, knowing full well that despite the fact he never said anything, that Siwon had been worrying himself to death about Leeteuk.
“You'll be alright Si-Si, you always are.” Leeteuk breathed, voice just loud enough for Hankyung to hear. “Besides...You've got Hannie-yah now, what else do you need to keep you going?”
“Aish~ Hyung.” Hankyung muttered as the pair pulled apart and Leeteuk went back to linking arms with Hankyung.
“What?! I'm right, you know it and Si-Si knows it too.” Leeteuk replied with an eye smile, before he turned and started to drag Hankyung off towards the main school building. “Come on Hannie-yah. Lunch time.” he added with a bright smile, Siwon staring in confusion for a moment before he began to follow, only pausing at another shout of his name. Turning towards the dormitories, Siwon smiled as Donghae quickly shuffled across towards him, fidgeting almost self consciously with his uniform.
“Donghae Hyung. Cut it out you look fine.” Siwon smiled quickly and gently curling his fingers around the male's wrist.
“I'm sorry, I'm just...you sure I don't look pink still?” Donghae replied biting his lip nervously, hand held out in front of him as he tried to judge his own skin colour.
“Yes, you're slightly pink, but you can't tell unless you have stupidly sensitive eyesight like we do. If anything you blend in more now then when you were as white as me.” Siwon replied as he dragged the elder male towards the School building. “Now come on, it's lunch and you have to reclaim your seat on our table.”
“W-Will Kibum-ah be in the canteen?” Donghae all but squeaked as he followed along after Siwon, before almost falling over as Siwon abruptly drew to a halt.
“If you don't want to, you don't have to come back just yet if you'd rather rest up in the dorms.” Siwon replied, turning back to peer curiously at Donghae, almost calculating his own opinion as to whether Donghae was well enough to be back or not.
“No! I'm alright. I don't want to be up there, at least down here I'm near to people who aren't trying to kill me.” Donghae replied, his laugh as he tried to make his statement into a joke sounding harsh and forced.
“Kibum-ah and Heechul Hyung haven't been at School since they hurt you.” Siwon replied carefully putting an arm round Donghae's shoulders in a hug. “I'm not sure why, but they aren't here...and even if they were, I wouldn't let them near you okay?”
“W...Why are you still helping me?” Donghae questioned, furiously wiping his face as his eyes began to swim with unshed tears. “I'm the reason everything bad has been happening with Kyu-yah and Wookie-yah and Hankyung Hyung. Why don't you hate me? Why aren't you mad at me?”
“Donghae Hyung.” Siwon sighed, running his fingers through his hair before pulling the male in for a proper hug. “You may have...not exactly done the right thing for a while...but you are still part of my group. Yes, I was angry at the fact it was you who told my Father that I'd told Hankyung Hyung everything, but...surely you agree you've paid enough for it now?”
“You should have killed me.” Donghae murmured against Siwon's chest, ignoring the fact that students or Teachers may go past at any moment.
“Sorry, that's not my way and you know it isn't. You paid for it, and you saved Eunhyuk-sshi who had nothing to do with the race's inner feud, I don't think there's anything you've got left to apologise for.” Siwon stated commandingly, before pulling away and dragging Donghae into the canteen, smiling as he spotted Hankyung sat with Yesung, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun, Henry's small form now happily tucked back in against his Umma's side at the wolf table.
“W-Wookie-yah's healed?!” Donghae breathed, turning to look up at Siwon, eyes bright as he smiled, momentarily forgetting his downer from before.
“He is. He came back to school not long after I took you to Changmin-sshi's. A lots happened this past week.” Siwon explained as he sat down on Hankyung's left hand side, Donghae carefully lowering himself down beside Ryeowook, almost as if he was expecting some sort of negative reaction.
“Hello Donghae Hyung.” Ryeowook smiled head tilting as he spoke. “Are you feeling any better now? You certainly look better.”
“Y-Yes thank you. How are you feeling?” Donghae replied tentatively, almost jumping as Ryeowook reached over and took hold of his hand, regardless of the fact Yesung was sat the other side of him.
“Calm down. None of us hate you.” Ryeowook soothed, causing Siwon to smile as Donghae visibly relaxed with a small smile, purposefully ignoring the blazing look Yesung was sending at the pair as he spotted their linked hands. “And I'm very well thank you. I'm completely healed. I just get the odd twinges but otherwise I'm fine.”
“Oh, that's good then.” Donghae smiled, Siwon watching happily as Ryeowook dragged the elder male into a conversation about something else, his own smile growing as Donghae seemed to respond as enthusiastically as he had done before the group had been broken apart.
“were you worried they wouldn't let him back in?” Hankyung questioned rolling his food around with his chopsticks pointlessly as he observed Siwon. “You seemed a bit anxious then when they were talking.”
“I guess I was, but I wasn't at the same time. If that makes sense?” Siwon replied with a small chuckle, which Hankyung quickly returned as he nodded in agreement.
“It does in a way...purely because it's you. Otherwise no.” Hankyung added, causing Siwon to roll his eyes and return to his own lunch with a small huff and a softly muttered 'I don't know what you mean', which only causing Hankyung to chuckle once more, his chuckle however, was cut off at the sight of the slender body approaching the table, eyes fixed on Donghae.
“D-Donghae-yah?!” At the soft call of his name, Donghae turned round confused, only to find himself staring at Eunhyuk, in a distinctly better condition then he'd seem him in previous.
“Eunhyuk Hyung?” Donghae replied, jittery as he peered round at the rest of the group who were now watching them, the wolf table across the canteen seeming to have not realised their resident red head had left the table yet.
Before Donghae could fully register what was happening, Eunhyuk had all but launched at him, arms wrapping tightly, yet carefully around him as he held him close, Donghae's senses being invaded by the unfamiliar scent of a werewolf up close. Ignoring the fact the other Vampires were around him, Donghae carefully hugged Eunhyuk back, his arms not completely healed as he held onto the werewolf, blocking out the small whispers from beside him.
“you're alive!” Eunhyuk mumbled against his shoulder, the Vampire frowning slightly as he felt the small tremble in the male's arms. “I thought he'd killed you...and that I'd been unable to help after everything you did for me.”
“I didn't exactly do that much.” Donghae muttered in response, finding himself slowly getting used to the foreign race's scent as it invaded his nostrils, feeling as if he was in his own bubble as he forget everyone around him.
The two tables however, the moment the pair had hugged had frozen in horror. Hankyung watched as Siwon's eyes went wide, Ryeowook stiffened up and Kyuhyun hissed something inaudible at Yesung, his eyes shifting to peer at the wolf table and not surprised to see the group staring with equal looks of horror except Leeteuk who seemed to have almost been expecting it. Siwon watched as the pair muttered to each other, one eye fixed on Kangin's form as he got to his feet at the other table, eyes narrowing, blood boiling as Leeteuk clamped on his wrist to stop him from storming over. Quickly getting to his feet, Siwon locked eyes with Kangin, meeting his challenge head on, vaguely noticing Leeteuk's 'sit down' gesture out the corner of his eye, yet ignoring it as his pride as a Leader kicked in once more at the possible threat from across the canteen.
With a sharp wrench, Kangin dislodged Leeteuk's grip from his wrist and stormed across the canteen, students swiftly backing out of his way as his face sank further into something dangerous and dark. Siwon watched as Kangin drew to a halt, eyes fixed on his own form before the Alpha male turned and prised the pair apart, Eunhyuk squawking in shock as Kangin tugged him backwards by his collar.
“Just what the hell do you think you are doing?!” Kangin hissed before he turned Eunhyuk and pushed him back across the canteen, ignoring the male's protests as he tried to escape and go back to Donghae, who was being held in place by a strong grip of Siwon's fingers on his shoulder, turning once to glare in challenge at Siwon before forcing Eunhyuk into his chair next to ZhouMi and sat back down himself, Siwon barely able to hear the aggravated rant Kangin was now snarling at the Redhead as Leeteuk tried to calm him down.

Also, If anyone wants the Smut Shihan scene from the first half of the post...let me know and I'll post it up as a side part. I felt it would have drawn too much focus away otherwise so I cut it out. :D Sorryyyyy.
