Part: 19 of ?

Hankyung had barely had time to step into the Common room area on the Dormitory floor the wolves inhabited before Henry had squealed happily and proceeded to drag him further into the room, bounding over towards the Sofa cushions where a pale, battered and sunken, yet alive Eunhyuk was currently laid out, smiling dopily and giggling slightly as Shindong checked his torso for any internal damage.

“Is he alright?” Hankyung queried concerned as Eunhyuk continued to giggle, eyes glazed slightly as he waved cheerily with his left hand at the pair, his right currently being held against the sofa by Kangin's own larger ones.

“He's pretty out of it at the moment, we gave him a relaxant drug to help with the pain while we check for injuries, it should have only made him slightly happy, but whatever happened to him took its toll on his body and it was far too powerful, so he's as high as a kite for now. It'll wear off in a minute or two don't worry.” Shindong explained, sitting back on his heels and nodding at Kangin before getting to his feet, Kangin smiling happily as the one look ensured him Eunhyuk was internally healed, and just had surface injuries to deal with.

“He's a mess.” ZhouMi stated, voice low as he winced at the beaten form of his elder pack member, taking in the purple blots, red slashes and angry welts that littered his bare torso, the male's shorts and Kangin's jacket hiding his lower half from view. “How did he escape? He was taken by Vampires...and they are notorious when it comes to prisoners.”

“I have no idea, he's not as...injured as I expected.” Kangin stated stroking the matted strands of burgundy out of Eunhyuk's face. “From what we can work out he was at the Choi Manor. And their prison cells are said to be absolute hell.” he added, Hankyung reeling slightly in shock at the mention of Siwon's family household, before the horror struck as he realised he knew what the cells Eunhyuk had been kept in looked like, having previously seen young Siwon in them in his head.

“They're awful.” Hankyung murmured, shaking his head slightly as Kangin tilted his head in question. “Just trust me on that.” Nodding in agreement, Kangin merely shrugged before turning back to watch over Eunhyuk, Henry now happily sat on the floor at his side, humming softly, swiftly lulling the red head into a more relaxed form, watching as his body drooped, along with his smile, the effects of the drug finally wearing off.

“Eunhyuk-ah?” Kangin called gently as the male turned blinking eyes towards him confusedly, wincing as the shift caused his neck to spasm. “you back with us now?”

“W-Where am I?” Eunhyuk murmured, jolting slightly as Henry sat up on his knees and leant against his stomach gently as if the elder male were a giant pillow. “Henry-yah?”

“Hyung~” Henry sang, smiling brightly as Eunhyuk detached his fingers from Kangin's and carefully sifted them through Henry's chestnut locks, still looking remotely confused as to what was happening.

“Am-Am I home?” Eunhyuk questioned, eyes narrowing as he attempted to understand, head turning to peer at the hovering forms of ZhouMi, Shindong and Hankyung, Kangin still remaining by his side.

“You are buddy, that you are.” Shindong sang, smiling brightly before a look of realisation seemed to pass over him. “Oh! You need food! I'll go make you some!” and with that the elder male rushed away into the kitchen, humming happily to himself.

“W-Where did Hae go?” Eunhyuk questioned, eyes widening in shock as the rest of the group peered down at him, confusion evident across their features.

“Hae?” Hankyung echoed, watching as the wolves shrugged at each other in a sign of defeat, not knowing who on earth the injured wolf was on about, before Hankyung erupted with a loud 'OH!' causing the rest gathered to jump before frowning as the blond human moved forward, eyes wide in recognition. “Do you mean Donghae-yah?!”

“Donghae-sshi!? As in...the little vampire who has little to no backbone and does whatever his mate tells him to?!” ZhouMi supplied, face contorting as he tried to fathom the scenario out.

“Yes.” Eunhyuk croaked, smiling slightly as Hankyung manoeuvred himself round to crouch by the side of his head on the other side of Kangin. “And...Ex mate now.” Eunhyuk added as an afterthought, drawing everyone's credulous gazes back to him once more.

“Since when have you been on nickname terms and love life discussion basis with a vampire?!” Kangin exclaimed.

“Since he saved my God Damn life.” Eunhyuk snarled causing Henry to sit back in shock, eyes wide before Eunhyuk groaned and rolled over onto his side, face pressing into the back of the sofa as he curled up, complaining about the pain in his side, Hankyung paling slightly as he spotted all the marks down the male's back that had previously been hidden, Eunhyuk's final statement still ringing in his ears.

“Hyung.” Hearing a soft voice beside him, Hankyung turned before jolting in shock as he found Kangin looking at him, having never heard the younger male using honorifics with anyone other then Leeteuk. “Will you be able to keep an eye on him and Henry-yah? Me and the others want to go for a look where we found Eunhyuk-ah, see if we can find anything out about the household, we still need to pay them back for what they did to Leeteuk Hyung and Sungmin-ah.”

“O-Of course!” Hankyung replied, eyes shifting back to the slumbering form of Eunhyuk curled up on the sofa cushions, before it altered to Henry who was now sprawled across the sofa opposite, reading one of his textbooks from school to keep himself busy after Kangin had warned him not to go jumping all over Eunhyuk while he was injured. “When will you be back?”

“Oh, we won't be too long don't worry, You'll be able to go back home and play happy families with the vampires again before it gets dark. You missing many lessons this afternoon?” Kangin replied, titling his head as he questioned the Chinese male's schedule.

“OH! Er...No, I had only a break and then Performance left, which without my two dance partners is a bit...pointless.” Hankyung replied with a smile, watching as Kangin got to his feet with a small nod, before quickly pushing ZhouMi and Shindong out of the Common Room area, Shindong protesting about the food he'd just made for Eunhyuk and the fact he needed to watch over Sungmin.

The moment the trio disappeared down the stairs however, Eunhyuk quickly rolled back onto his spine, causing Hankyung to startle, having been convinced the younger male was asleep. Sitting up quickly, Hankyung watched as Eunhyuk sighed and carefully ran his fingers through his hair, tugging on the matted knots stuck together from accumulated filth and blood, his body too weak to be moved into the showers just yet.

“Did Donghae-yah really help you?” Hankyung questioned softly, pulling Eunhyuk's hand away from his hair as the male continually winced and whimpered in pain.

“He did.” Eunhyuk sighed. “I still don't really know why, I don't remember much of what was happening, or how long I was gone for. But one day everything seemed to...explode and Kibum-sshi and Donghae-yah argued, and I they broke up, and then Kibum-sshi and Heechul-sshi mentioned about a job and left Donghae-yah to look after me, and instead of giving me the drug to repress my mind like he was supposed to, he gave me my mind back, cleaned me up and gave me something to heal my insides with.”

“Do they know he helped you?” Hankyung whispered, stroking the male's forehead gently as Eunhyuk's eyes began to droop from exhaustion.

“They didn't seem suspicious while I was still there, I'm rather good at pretending to be docile.” Eunhyuk replied with a small chuckle that quickly morphed into a thick cough. “But now I've got away...I'm not so sure.”

“I'll have a word with Siwon-ah, see if he can find anything out about Donghae-yah.” Hankyung smiled, Eunhyuk seeming to visibly relax at his words before finally succumbing to the exhaustion and closing his eyes, sinking into sleep, the relaxed state of his face drawing emphasise to all the abuse his features had taken.

Realising both Eunhyuk and Henry were now fast asleep on their respective sofas, Hankyung sighed heavily and got to his feet, sweeping his hair over his shoulder, wondering briefly whether he should cut it before he wandered quietly across towards the room that Sungmin was still holed up in, keeping his footsteps light as he remembered the wolf pack's hearing was just as acute as the vampire groups. Carefully pushing the door open, Hankyung tiptoed in, blinking at the mass of sunlight streaming in through the window, rays spanning across the still form of Sungmin tucked up in his sheets, completely disinterested by the mass of light fanning across his face. The whole scene was eerie. At first glance it appeared that the small blond was merely sleeping, yet upon closer inspection, the pale tinge to the male's skin made the whole thing resemble a funeral ceremony. Stepping back out of the bedroom with a small shiver, Hankyung almost screamed as he turned to find Henry right behind him, small frame peering at him curiously.

“Hyung? What are you doing?” Henry questioned before smiling as Hankyung pulled him in for a hug, still panting heavily from shock at seeing the young wolf so close. “Sorry I didn't mean to scare you.”

“It's fine Henry-yah, just...warn me or something next time okay?” Hankyung smiled, walking the small male back towards the seating area, frowning as he realised Eunhyuk was once again awake. “I was only checking on Sungmin-ah.”

“Oh...fair enough.” Henry stated dropping back into his seat. “I thought maybe you were leaving us.” Henry added, flushing slightly as Hankyung laughed and pinched his cheeks before dropping into the seat beside the youngest, watching curiously as Eunhyuk seemed to frown before attempt to pull himself into a sitting position.

“Eunhyuk-ah! Don't move! You need to rest!” Hankyung stated getting up and quickly moving across to hold the red haired wolf in place, frowning as the glazed irises that seemed to peer right through him. “Eunhyuk-ah?” He tried again, before his frown got worse as Henry got to his feet, his own irises glazing slightly as he gazed off into the wall as if he were seeing through it.

“What is that?” Henry questioned, before the pair of them winced and clamped their hands over their ears.

“What's happening?!” Hankyung panicked not sure which of the wolves to go to first. “What can you hear?!” he exclaimed, despising his basic human hearing at that moment in time for about the twelfth time that year.

“Someone's screaming.” Henry explained before Hankyung was almost thrown backwards as Eunhyuk doubled his efforts to get up.

“Donghae-yah! It's Donghae-yah! They've got him!” Eunhyuk rambled, repeating himself over and over as he scrabbled to get up to help the vampire. “Hyung! They've got him!”

“Eunhyuk-ah! Calm down! There's not a lot you can do to help in this state! Where are they?” Hankyung all but yelled as the younger male got hysterical.

“On the roof of your dorm!” Eunhyuk stated, still trying to get up as his body protested, tears of frustration starting to well up in his eyes as the pair listened to the panicked screams that Hankyung couldn't hear, unable to do anything to help the male who'd saved his life.

“What? Why are they on the roof?!” Hankyung exclaimed, pressing Eunhyuk back down once more, barely able to control the young wolf even in his injured and weakened state.

“I don't know! Hyung! They must have found out he helped me! They're going to kill him!” Eunhyuk babbled, getting ever more hysterical with each passing second, Hankyung wincing at the strain of trying to keep him in a laying position.

“Hang on! I'll go have a look see if I can see them, and see if I can get hold of Siwon-ah!” Hankyung replied, Eunhyuk seeming satisfied with this as he sank back against the cushions, whimpering in pain as he clutched his chest. Rushing off through the floor, Hankyung set sight on what he assumed was ZhouMi's room at the other end of the floor, the windows of which opened up onto his own Dormitory, hoping that Donghae would be alright, despite the fact the smaller male had done little to warrant help, Hankyung still couldn't stomach the idea of him dying, especially not at the hands of Kibum and Heechul.

Barging through into the bedroom, Hankyung scrambled across towards the windows and peered out, screaming Siwon's name in his mind, not actually sure whether it would do any good, yet hoping the male would be able to hear him after admitting he could hear his thoughts from across campus.

Drawing his eyes up to the rooftop, Hankyung almost collapsed against the windowsill as he spotted the small figures of Kibum and Donghae, the latter currently being held down over the edge of the rooftop, upper torso hanging off into the air as Kibum pinned him against the concrete, the look of malicious amusement evident even to Hankyung's low strength eyes, his human ears just able to pick up the small sounds of Donghae screaming as he thrashed against the concrete in an attempt to escape.

Hyung? Did you just shout?

YES! Donghae-yah! Rooftops! Help!

Calm down, I'm already on my way up. Had a run in with bloody Kim Heechul.

Are you alright?

Yes, now look after those wolves you're babysitting, I'll take care of Kibum-ah.

Be careful!

Visibly relaxing, Hankyung pushed himself against the window panes as he tried to see what was happening on the rooftop opposite, rather thankful that the Werewolf's floor wasn't as low down as the vampires, meaning he had better chance to see what was going on with his human sight.

“Did you really think we wouldn't work it out huh?!” Kibum spat, pressing Donghae's smaller frame down tighter against the concrete, smirking as the bones of his ribcage cracked beneath his hands, drawing another sharp scream from Donghae's lips, watching as his eyes widened in terror as Kibum pushed him slightly further over the edge until he was hanging from hips up. “I would push you over the edge, but that would be pointless. Not only can you land on your feet, but you could easily just teleport out of there.”

“N-No please, Kibum-ah, I didn't do anything!” Donghae screamed, eyes wide in terror as the pain shot through his chest, lungs protesting as the bones shattered, his hips creaking under the strain from being held into the concrete.

“Liar! How else would he escape?! He couldn't have done it himself! Which meant someone must have helped him, and since you're the only sap who'd consider helping the fleabag, it must have been you!” Kibum snarled, Donghae barely hearing it as Heechul appeared on the ground beneath him, or above him from the way he was positioned, and seemed to be drawing a target in the air with his finger, smirk prominent across his features, Donghae cringing as he realised that to the two of them it was little more then a game, and 'target practise'.

“I don't know how he escaped! I didn't do anything! I wasn't there when he did!” Donghae yelled, before his eyes widened further in fear as Kibum merely snarled, free hand smashing into his face, before it reached down and wrapped around the silver links of his bracelet that protected him from the sunlight. “N-No! P-Please Kibum-ah! Don't do that!”

Yet before he could say anything else, Kibum had tugged heavily on the chain, watching amused as the bracelet shattered beneath his grasp. The reaction was instantaneous, the moment the silver broke from around his wrist, Donghae screamed, a shrill blood curdling scream as the sun's rays attacked his skin, Kibum watching as the whites of his eyes burnt black, his skin steadily darkening as the elder male continued to scream, body convulsing in his hold, blood seeping out through the deep cracks in the male's skin as it dried up and burnt away.

“OI!” At the loud call from behind him, Kibum turned confused at how someone had managed to sneak up on him without him hearing, before he yelled in shock as Siwon's fist smashed into his face, his grip on Donghae dropping as he staggered back, barely able to catch himself from falling off the edge of the building. The moment he dropped Donghae, Siwon darted forward and pulled the slipping frame back over the wall, paling as he stared at the damage already in the male's skin. Lifting Donghae into his arms, Siwon quickly tugged his own bracelet, activating the emergency extension used for times like this and slipped it over Donghae's wrist so the pair of them were wearing it, sighing as Donghae's convulsing ceased, leaving a pained twitch in its wake.

“What the fuck are you interfering for?!” Kibum spat clutching his nose, which upon quick inspection as he pulled his fingers away to speech, was shattered in three places. “He's not one of yours! He abandoned you why bother?!”

“I'll do what I like Kibum-ah.” Siwon snapped, eyes blazing before he span and swiftly kicked the male square in the jaw, watching almost maliciously as Kibum was flung over the edge of the building, scowling as the male merely turned mid-air and landed twelve storeys down, gently on his feet beside an identically frowning Heechul. “Donghae Hyung?” Siwon breathed turning his back on the roof edge in an attempt to block as much sun away from the twitching male as possible.

“I'm sorry.” Donghae muttered, blackening fingers curling round Siwon's shirt material, dry sobbing as his damaged eyes failed to cry. “I'm so sorry.”

“Shush, It's alright, we'll get you back inside and get you healed up, you'll be alright.” Siwon soothed, quickly vanishing on the spot and reappearing moments later in Kyuhyun's bedroom where the three other vampires were gathered.

“HOLY SHIT!” Kyuhyun yelled leaping to his feet as he spotted the blackened and bleeding form of Donghae curled up against Siwon's chest. “He didn't did he?”

“Yes, Kibum-ah pulled his bracelet off.” Siwon hissed carefully setting Donghae down on the bed, having to control himself as blackened bits of skin, almost like charcoal came away across his own skin as he removed the male from his grasp, making sure the blind was closed before pulling his bracelet back onto his own wrist. “I think he planned to remove it and throw him off the building so he'd either try and stop himself hitting the ground and burn, or be too obsessed with trying to stop himself burning to realise he was at the ground and dying that way.”

“I'm sorry.” Donghae murmured once more drawing the attention back to him, Siwon frowning as Ryeowook clambered out of bed and shuffled across the room despite the fact he wasn't completely healed yet. “I only wanted to help.”

“What's he on about?” Ryeowook questioned, carefully lowering himself into a kneeling position on the floor by Donghae's head, humming soothingly under his breath as he started to heal the male's arm.

“He helped Eunhyuk-sshi escape from my family house. He stopped giving him the repression drugs and basically saved his life.” Siwon supplied, causing Kyuhyun's eyes to go wide in shock.

“I-Is he safe?” Donghae murmured, groaning slightly as Ryeowook tried to heal him, the skin on his arm merely turning an angry red as he tried.

“He is. I'm more worried about you now though.” Siwon stated leaning down to attempt to heal the male himself, the two non-pure bloods watching anxiously as the process did little but aggravate the damaged skin.

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean for everything to get this bad.” Donghae croaked, dry sobbing once more as he tried to reach for Siwon, or where his damaged eyes thought Siwon was. “I'm sorry, I-It was me who told you're Father about telling Hankyung Hyung, K-Kibum-ah forced me into it.”

“Shush, It's alright, we'll talk things over when you're healed.” Siwon whispered, wincing as he realised said process was beyond his and Ryeowook's skill level. “I'm going to have to take him to Changmin-sshi. I'll take him to his house, where my brother's are living at the moment. We can't heal him here.” he added, carefully scooping Donghae up into his arms once more, slipping the bracelet back onto the male's arm before he disappeared.
