    State of Being:
nostalgic

(August ? 1998 - September 21, 2006)
[side note: I found this print that I took on film just now.
I had lost those digital images that I took the last time I saw
her, but this was when she was younger like 5 or 6 years old]

To Bella Vincentia (aka Vinnie)

I will miss...
...seeing her at 5 am in the morning during my high school years
...the way she would blot down the hill to bark at whatever comes her way and give a muffled bark because she has a ball shoved into her mouth
...watching her sleep, her body twitching as she dreams
...her leaning her body weight against me as I rub her back
...her unusual hang-out spots like the bathroom and under the dining room table
...how she would be more afraid of the deer outside
...giving her back and stomach rubs as she does her "slut mutt" stretch
...her "subservant" stretches that ended in a fart in front of Karen (ha ha!! I almost forgot about that one)
...her killer breath that could knock people out (see photo below)

...how well-behaved she was. she may have an intimating bark as she barrels down the hill, but she was such a wuss for love and attention
...how wonderfully calm and loveable she was

Vinnie's ashes will be buried outside this weekend.
"Rainbow Bridge" will be read during this service.
You will be missed Vinnie. I hope that you and Charlie are hanging out up there.
