Sandown Model Railway Exhibition
On March 6th-8th in Sandown Racecourse (Horse racing and Motorsport area) there was the Sandown Model Railway Exhibition that was held there and it was the first time that the Australian Japanese Model Railway Group was able to be there and we had a nice module display of Japanese Railway running and we had a lot of people coming up to us asking questions about the trains as well as the size scale the trains and track are! the good thing was that a fellow friend of the club was selling the size scale track as well as promoting the T-Trak group.
The good thing about this is that we were helping each other out and this is where friendships are made and how we can ask for assistance and be happy that we know that anything regarding the N scale track or scenery can be found with these contacts!
As well as that we get to meet up with other clubs that are there and talk tothen in regards to their model Exhibitions which is coming up in the later part of the year, this is a good step for us as we (Australian Japanese Model Railway Group - AJMRG) is looking to promote themselves as well as geeting members.
It's amazing that since I am now the web Admin for the AJMRG, I have had a few late nights making sure the website is working and finally got it working on the day we were setting up for the Sandown Model Railway Exhibition. Now I have to start writing e-mails to the people who requested information about the club and the layout and anything that is Japanese Model Railway connected.
But now it's time for sleep and get up early for Radio Duities!
